hi guy,
got 1 question when using my studio xps 16 with ati 4670 and facing below issue which need your guy advice.
1. When using battery only on the notebook it seem the ati avivo video setting is blank out or limited which i cant choose most of the setting.
2. when using ac adapter on the notebook it seem the ati avivo video setting is available to select like normal...
Thanks

I think you can enable it when you use balanced/highperformance mode.

it might be because of the ATI Modded Desktop driver.. go and download a mobile version from AMD .. get official drivers.. some functionallity of mobile cards will be gone.. and i think that was for the HD3670 not the HD4670..

haiz.. thats the problem with ATi.. never create support for their own mobile cards.. Thats why for laptop I feel Nvidia would be better in terms of driver support.. >.<

QUOTE(squall_12 @ Dec 9 2009, 07:58 PM) so everyone who used ati mobile graphic card having the same issue like me? and ATI never solved the issue? Not unless you use the desktop driver and mod it for notebook use; refer to the first post or here for more details.
