Yeah, i've been checking their website regularly hoping for some updates, maybe they'd offer promotion for SXPS 16 i7... Don't have sad.gif

At the meantime, i'm scouring for maybe better deals from other retailers. Sometimes they get staff price or something.

Will update here when i know more ^^

i'm using notepal infinite, so far the result not really that big..
And beware of those lower grade notepal infinite (something like AP)...
i notice got 2 different box, 1 with chinese +english word, another don have, jz english.
The price is almost the same...
i bought the one with none-chinese word.. so far the temperature only drop about 3-4 C when playing games, fan put on HIGH.
and i notice the fan not really that fast, and didn't have much cooling at the bottom (palm rest).
my friend bought notepal W2 (2 fans) and i really can feel the cooling effect... (not sure bout the temp drop)
so i think is better u go test for yourself rather than hearing ppl view..
Zalman if got more money can get that..
After my notepal infinite fan dead, i think i will go buy better fan and change it..

haiz sure not much difference.. u think with cooler pad can give 10c difference? LoL..

I see my Notepal AX seems to give me the same temperature as the plastic cooler RM10-15 lol..

Anyways a cooler is better than running it flat on a desk biggrin.gif

I'm thinking how to modify my zalman cooler with better fan ^^
but USB has power tranfer the limitation !! USB provide max 30V or 15V ??>.<
so even you use 4500rpm i think it's not perform well ??
I'm using 30V cable to my another coolerpad which make the fan so noisy ... but fail in cooling effect !! boz the fan position.
waiting to try on NC when back ^^
i hv a stupid answer to ask !! if the coolerpad hv 4 hub then u connect all 4 hub to the laptop usb port. anyone know what will happen ??

Power Throttle Issue(AC-Power) on Dell Studio XPS 1645

http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=437800

It seems that these ppl get replacement for their AC Power of 90W to 130W. I see dell Msia still selling their SXPS1645(Corei7) with 90W..

Just a warning for future potential buyers.

Added on December 3, 2009, 1:08 pmBtw, can SXPS 16 i7 users here confirm, the video card is ATI Mobility RADEON® HD 4670 - 1GB DDR3 yes? Cuz in their website, Dell only showed "ATI Mobility RADEON® HD 4670 - 1GB". How to know whether its DDR3 or DDR2?

I noticed from NBR they state the HD4670 as DDR3 smile.gif

**About the Power Throttle Issue**
If dell malaysia say why just give them that link smile.gif
Other Dell have been replacing the 90W to 130W adapter. This only applies to the model 1645 with Core i7 smile.gif
