QUOTE(Wilson0011 @ Mar 15 2010, 10:14 PM) is k40ab and k50ab has a diffrence prices? is lowyat selling the k50ab? anyone bought this laptop from there? they should fairly be same priced.. as in retail.. but you wont know what the shops price them to be..and the hot running (60-70C idle with the back cover close, load approaching 100C) will cause the laptop goes down easily? Its normal to have tis temperature on Athlon and 4570.. so far.. it has not caused any problem to me.. did no go down at all.. no problem during game.. and u dont even feel the heat.. |

Seems like Asus's after sales service dropping eh..
IIRC last year I had a G51VX with LCD problem. Took them 3 days only to change a new LCD for me. K50AB just brings me memories. haha |

This lappy is having a pretty old and outdated processor..
You should expect lag-ness while doing video editing or converting which involved CPU powers. This CPU cant really handle it. |

you're looking at i7-2630QM on both laptop models? yes with that processor, its capable of handling movie editing as well.
