i have tried it and it definitely helped alot... the difference is evident when you play Flight Commander.

i deleted 1.0 when i found out that HTC Sense was not smooth after installing it.. But the newer version 1.1 doesn't have this issue. u can just install it and try it urself.. no harm

its not getting worst. this is not a hotfix to fix the sms lag instead to fix the issue where sms are not sent out and stuck inside the outbox. you might not have this issue, but I've encountered this problem before so I think its useful.you might encounter this in the near future too.it took me 2 weeks of usage for this problem to occur

i think your set is default.. i have tested on putting my hand on the sensor and it always turn the backlight off.. each and every time

it is not out of stock.. PDA Expert just got their stock yesterday.

go and get U1000's screen protector and cut it to fit the size of the HD2.. i did that to my HD2

both of them are 4.3" if im not mistaken.. so they must be very similar right?

i guess u got ur set from PDA Expert right?

but i think you gotta format your device to solve that problem... or u should bring back your device to PDA expert

if ppl who dunno how to operate a WM device or dunno how to get those software, buying from SenQ is a nightmare.. we have seen many customers like these. That's why resellers like PDA Expert or Freshgear would definitely wont lower their price just to compete with SenQ

sweat. so serious? have u tried resetting your device?

it is meant to be like that.. you cannot make it as a router while u are on call... your broadband connection would disconnect automatically while u have a call.
you also cannot sync your phone while u connect your device to your laptop as a broadband modem.. remember, there are options for you to choose while you connect your HD2 to the computer.. Active Sync, Mass Storage, Internet Sharing, etc... they made you to choose the option you want, so if you can sync while u share your internet, why would they wanna let u choose the other option of Internet Sharing?

there should not be a problem after a hard reset.. i'm waiting for the new ROM to come out to flash

WM7 is rumoured to be confirmed on the HD2 and only the HD2 itself because of the hardware built.. see this.

We just got an interesting news tip pointing to the HTC Twitter account from Russia. The tweet mentions that the only HTC device currently on the market to receive a Windows Mobile 7 upgrade will be the HD2. And we've suspected this for a while, considering that the HD2 meets Microsoft's hardware requirements for Windows Mobile 7. Here's what they said:

for Diamond 2 firmware is not planned. Of the existing communicators on the market, only the HD2 firmware to get WM7.

Hopefully what we see here is a true (and considering that this was said by an official HTC rep, it should be), because the HD2 is going to turn out to be one of the most popular smartphones of all time. If it's getting an upgrade to 7, this will make a lot of people happy.

currently waiting desperately for the official 1.61 ROM to arrive in Asia HTC and i will flash it!

i got it from PDA Expert.. but i dunno what brand is it.. it has a sandy feeling on the protector if u know what i mean.. i think u can head to any outlet to get it.. i got mine from Mid Valley...
