Hey Omnian. It's been a while since I've seen you here.

No idea actually. The other day, I kinda dropped it, but that was after MANY series of droppings of the omnia, and yet after the recent one, it works like a charm, them all of a sudden, after working so well, this happens

So I reflashed it to OCK's new rom, everything went great..for the first couple of hours, then it hanged. I restarted, the phone was okay for a shorter period this time, again, restarted, and repeats itself, til now, I can only come to the Starting windows screen.

Any solutions to that, Master Omnian biggrin.gif?

Oh...I've been lurking around biggrin.gif

That seems like a hardware problem. Some electronics are starting to fail.

It's time to upgrade your device.

Actually, there might be a problem with the ROM itself (if it's ock's latest) and not your phone... In fact, he removed the download links because of "freezing" issues. So use another ROM for now laugh.gif

hmm.gif worth a try.

How long have you been with OCK's ROM?

Does your problem starts with this same ROM?

Haha hope you're not trolling haha tongue.gif

Well I've been using it for quite a while. Right now I'm trying to download official DZIa5, revert it back to 6.1 if it's any possible, trade it in, if there's any salvage value laugh.gif

Aint having much moolah for a new phone, but hopefully can get the nokia c6.
Wonders of specs.

hh7edit: Oh? Now that I've read the page, seems that it might be the firmwares problem and hopefully not my omnia laugh.gif

HEHE Gives me more hope! lol!

My i900 is also starting to act a little bit funny.

Thinking of trading it off, but waiting and seeing if there will be an Omnia III sweat.gif

Guys, is it possible to upgrade Omnia from WM6.1.x to WM6.5.x by just flashing the loader and pda part? I would prefer not to touch the phone part... It's my friend's so I wanna be a bit more careful sweat.gif

Yes, you can and it's advisable not to flash the phone part if it's working okay.

Some people, at the dark side, are facing connection problem at the moment.

You may wish to try some of shokka9's 6.5 without the phone part.

I'm using GrandPrix for flashing with Windows 7, so I can choose whether to flash loader/pda/csc/phone.

Thanks! Now I can go on to "mod" my friend's Omnia without worries laugh.gif I prefer using ock's GTX 23118 for now, has most of the important apps I need, looks nice, and kinda smooth.

Added on August 11, 2010, 10:41 pmOh yea, his PHONE part is i900DXHG4. No problems upgrading right? (Still worried for some reason, maybe because it's not my own phone doh.gif )

I'm not familiar with OCK, but it doesn't matter which phone part it has.

The GTX series are mostly single toned, kinda bland for me.

I'm using just the normal flasher? Which uses.. an .exe file, and on my sister's windows XP.

But nothing is affected tongue.gif.

BUT! Now, since I've reflashed, just now it was all well ( WITHOUT SIM card) and now I've inserted the sim card, all hell broke lose sad.gif

I'm trying to get a full charge again, and probably , this time , really go back to DZIA5.

I've always used dark-toned M2D themes, so GTX is something "fresh" to me tongue.gif Tried alphaUI for a while, but still end up with M2D lol... As for the flasher, I don't have Windows XP, so have to dissemble the EXE with i900_EXEcutor and flash using GrandPrix.
