It depends on which chef's 6.5 you use. Some will crash, but some are very fast.

Everybody also want a stable and bug-free ROM. Who would like a ROM full of bugs and crash their device all the time?

Most of the ROMs out there are quite stable and almost bug-free. Only thing you need to do is, read its thread to understand what other users have to said before deciding to upgrade yours.

What I meant was, what applications do you want and what's not?

For me, personally, I like shokka9's lite ROMs.
I will recommend that, but other people might say otherwise.
Different people have different likings depending, also, on what applications they want to be cooked in.

fense can u do me a favor? currently i900DXIA5 got a bug which is when u activate auto-rotate, the sms notification on wiget theme will not pop up to tell u have receive sms...can u try to activate the auto-rotate then see whether the bug got fixed by samsung onot...thx alot

i solve this by putting the sms notice out of the 'sidebar', then when receive msg, it will show.
after u read the msg, it will auto go back to sidebar, into a location able to notice after that.
i tried before, it seem like if u put the msg notify lower than certain widget inside the sidebar won't not work.

u can have a try, no harm. but no sure it is really work or not, at least for mine it still working now.

I ask Samsung by email, they said latest ROM is still DZIA5 and about the WM6.5. they are iin experiment now, if working well in OMNIA they will plan for upgrade. SO, waiting for good news lolz

Hey Omnian? Probably you passed my post, but wondering if there's any way to change my taskbar icons to the standard ones? Using shokkas v22 win6.5 , and the taskbar icons doesnt really suit me.

Another thing, is there any way to reinstall the touch player by samsung? I cant seem to write a text message while using either the windows media player / s2p. It'll lag heavily.

I just bought Omnia 8GB FMG set ....

and i have some issue below...

I had installed garmin.. n i could launch the software..

The problem is whenever i try to access HOME, ADRESSES, POINT OF INTEREEST .. Then i would have this error appear

DETAILS MAPS ARE REQUIRED TO USE THIS FEATURE. VISIT GARMIN,COM FOR MORE INFO...

For your infor i had place the "gmapsupp.img " file into the garmin folder.

Can someone please advice....... I am really so noob using this phone..

Where did you get the "gmapsupp.img"?

Which garmin folder did you put it in?

the GMAPSUPP.IMG i downloaded from one of the link...
