Maybe its the problem with the ROM that you are using.
I have tried many roms, but mostly from OCK's , have yet to encounter those problems. Try reflashing? And Video call works, did alot of video calling with my gf. |

Seesms its a problem occurring not only to me, but most winmo users.
The messaging program loads SLOWLY and most of the time making my device hot. Will search around for a fix. |

The screen quality of the omnia degrades quite a bit, and the best you could do is change the screen altogether.

Hey Omnian. It's been a while since I've seen you here.
No idea actually. The other day, I kinda dropped it, but that was after MANY series of droppings of the omnia, and yet after the recent one, it works like a charm, them all of a sudden, after working so well, this happens ![]() So I reflashed it to OCK's new rom, everything went great..for the first couple of hours, then it hanged. I restarted, the phone was okay for a shorter period this time, again, restarted, and repeats itself, til now, I can only come to the Starting windows screen. Any solutions to that, Master Omnian |

Haha hope you're not trolling haha
Well I've been using it for quite a while. Right now I'm trying to download official DZIa5, revert it back to 6.1 if it's any possible, trade it in, if there's any salvage value Aint having much moolah for a new phone, but hopefully can get the nokia c6. Wonders of specs. hh7edit: Oh? Now that I've read the page, seems that it might be the firmwares problem and hopefully not my omnia HEHE Gives me more hope! lol! The GTX series are mostly single toned, kinda bland for me.
I'm using just the normal flasher? Which uses.. an .exe file, and on my sister's windows XP. But nothing is affected BUT! Now, since I've reflashed, just now it was all well ( WITHOUT SIM card) and now I've inserted the sim card, all hell broke lose I'm trying to get a full charge again, and probably , this time , really go back to DZIA5. |

It will get stucked at times, and.. my solution is to hit the phone everytime it hangs, then it'll load.
I'm thinking there's a chip somewhere that's loose >_> |

If I'm not mistaken, to make a video call, dial the number, press options, and press video call.
If not, you'll have to enable the samsungdialer skin, go to tools, advanced hacking? and enable samsung dialer. That should help in enabling video call. |

QUOTE(cressalve @ Nov 29 2010, 08:47 PM) Guys, can I know if there is a software to manage our text messages? I kept getting memory to low notices. But I don't wanna delete all of the text messages just like that. Some of em are important >.< Pls help Just use activesync and sync all of your messages into the PC? That'd be easier, and if you are willing and courageous enough, try to flash the phone into a cooked, light rom. It'll help with the low memory errors.QUOTE oh my god, omnia cant flash with window mobile 7,the requirement is quite high.the hardware itself cant support window mobile 7...-.- It's not a Windows Mobile anymore, it's a Windows Phone 7. It's way different, has has minimum requirements set by Microsoft in order to have full user experience (Smooth UI,etc). With the Omnia, being one of the leaders of WinMo at one time, it's aging specifications won't be able to catch up..even with the touch profile of Windows Phone, In which they'd have to have multitouch. Omnia's are maufactured with Resistive touch screens, which only allow a single touch ,and more of a press rather than a touch. That is just one of the features Omnia I900 can't cope with, way too many more. It's a new OS all over , and it's WAAAy different than WinMo. And hence, Samsung came up with this Samsung Omnia 7 QUOTE Need help!! My parent just register for Streamyx Wifi at home so dat we can access to the internet, and all laptop are working well.. The problem is, my samsung i900 already connected to the access point after keyed in the network key but can't access to the internet. Why does this happen?? Is there any setting that should be change since I hav'nt change any setting for wifi connection. Anyone?? This may be due to conflicting access points, try to delete other access points, and also, try with the phone off ( flight mode). It's been a while since I've entered this thread.. since my omnia died on me . T______T This post has been edited by headhunter7: Dec 8 2010, 11:28 PM |
