Gee.. I certainly had no idea I had so many followers; even some of whom I don't recognise seem to know I managed to get this and that waived *respect*
@guanteik,
Anyhow, I don't exactly know what the criteria is but all you need to do is put a request through to the CS. They'll tell you they need to speak with the Management with regards to it and give you a counter offer in a few days. Usually they'll counter offer you to give you some form of MR points for the RM800 but I took a stance to tell them I wasn't satisfied with that.
Then, they tell you to give them a couple of days and they'll speak with the Management again and come back to you as to whether or not they can waive the RM800 completely.
I did roughly ask the CS what the criteria was and he said it's really on a case to case basis but if you've swiped at least 100k [or was it 50k? *shrugs*] on your card within the year, you'll usually get it waived.
Do let us know how yours works out for you as I soon will have to make a similar call *siGh*
PS: Don't be fooled - I certainly ain't rich!
@bingozero,
Big is relative. What's the point being big when owing bank loads of $
@boonsin23,
Er.. nolah, I don't hold any charge cards. Was hoping to get the Amex Gold Charge Card but now that I've to pay RM50 for it to the damn government, nah - no point !
