nah, because i can get them dirt cheap and was wondering which one is better.. heard that LG is overly commercialised but it's not very good.. don't know about toshiba though.. i know their laptops are pretty good..

Toshiba's LCD quality not so well as i heard.. Dont even produce the LCD panel their own..
They are just too well advertise on ASTRO.. Keep saying 10bits thingy as others dont have..But their panel is not 10bits, only video processing in 10bits.. I suggest u get SHARP or SONY.. Sticking to the title of this thread, I'll go with Toshiba. FYI, a Toshiba 27WL55E bought years ago is still going strong. However, I do agree that you could take a look at the Philips 32PFL5609 or 5409 as alternatives

IMHO, LG sucks. I bought a dvd recorder few years back. though the price was way cheaper compared to pioneer's; it didn't last and right after 1 year it broke down and the repair costs a bomb that i decided to buy a new one.

Toshiba LCD sucks from my experience....I dunno abt LG.
My factory has 4 of them...3 spoil, 1 more spoil again a few months after repair...my Japanese MD laugh and ask to change to Panasonic.. |

just bought toshiba 42" RV500E less than a month even though after numerous shops trying to push LG...
