That day I saw in Low Yat Plaza this Hornettek Phantom media player going for RM399 down from RM499 previously. This is the same thing as the Patriot Box Office and the demo looks pretty good. Anybody here has bought this? Please give your comments and share your experience.

Hornettek Phantom? cut cost player, less output.. no worth..

Another Realtek 1073DD chipset . (value ~) below RM300

why cheap?

*64MB Flash design. (new one is 256MB)
*SDK V1. (now is V3)

still can handle all 1080p format.

looks like diyomate S6T but w/o touch panel, are you going to import it? can make it rm250 or lesser?

Similar models with touch panel are being sold in Singapore at SIN$128 only, yes with good insulated HDMI cable too. It seems many of the sellers are clearing their old stock for newer generations of media player coming out of China after the CNY holidays.
You only have to look at how much WDTV live price have drop! Currently its being offer at RM430 only!

I think WD TV Live wants to compete with POHD mini, which is RM489.00. You can get it from Low Yat The Hub with RM449.00 now and C-zone also.

yup, price drop lately, actually at lelong u can won the ST6 bid at about RM200++
WD live @ RM430 is a good deal indeed

Where to test this HDPRO and how much? Want to test some Sanyo HD2000 60p video files; problem playing on PS3 and WDTV lah.
