I tried Singapore foods for almost 2 weeks, and i couldnt find any to my liking. Maybe i used to malaysia's recipe. But I found out their food to be kinda tasteless, and worst...weird.

i tried the hainanese chicken rice in balestier road, corner shop. side by side with another corner shop famous for the bak kut teh (which is not nice also). the chicken rice... i thought what is so special about hainanese chicken rice, nothing special other than its rice. the chicken lost to most of the chicken rice stall in malaysia.

QUOTE(beatlesalbum @ Oct 10 2009, 04:57 PM) Curry chicken noodles at Senja food court at raffles place is not bad too. are you sure it's 7ringgit? im not sure which place u mentioned, but 7ringgit for that area is kinda low already. expect 10-13ringgit lar In fact it has been higlighted by many programmes. but problem is compare with 2 years ago when i first try it, the quality has deteriorated somewhat. Added on October 10, 2009, 5:06 pm ppl there earning start 2500 SGD, and even in City center can still get 3.5 sgd for chicken rice.... here in Msia, KLCC city center earn 2500 RM but chicken rice almost 7 ringgit. |

It is indeed look nice, kinda different from Malaysian one coz it has a lot of vegetables on top and we have to put the black soya sauce and some oil ourself. the first taste i tasted, i was like .........
