I think Volland should be given a chance. Mueller is best at RW cause he plays as a SS during attacks.

QUOTE(skystrike @ Sep 4 2014, 04:17 PM) seem like german need to improve their young player n also their backup player....since most of the starter in wc final didnt start the game.... out of all these players, I only find Eric Durm, Ginter, Kramer, Draxler, Marc Stegen and Volland got potential. The rest so-so only. |

QUOTE(raymondlam10 @ Sep 4 2014, 05:22 PM) Kramer was awesome yesterday. Best German player on the field oh forgot about him And there was Rudiger... the next Boateng? Wanna see him starting as a right full back against Scotland on sunday ![]() Durm, Grosskreutz, Ginter need to work harder. The Defense should look like that: Durm/Howedes/Jansen , Hummels/Howedes , Boateng/Ginter/Mustafi , Rudiger/Grosskreutz Need fast fullbacks with good crossing and attacking ability On the other hand, goetze seems to have slowed down a little. he's not so dynamic anymore This post has been edited by ChaNzy: Sep 4 2014, 05:26 PM |

QUOTE(raymondlam10 @ Sep 4 2014, 05:41 PM) Sebastian Jung is another good option for the right FB position. Need to observe him in Wolfsburg with Bendtner me too Yeah, agree with you. Completely different compared to the time he played for BVB Need to work harder and come back to reality. maybe it's all down to tactics. pep's bayern are so much slower than klopp's bvb. miss the goetze-reus partnership This post has been edited by ChaNzy: Sep 4 2014, 06:55 PM |

Gianluca Gaudino is already in Bayern Munich's first team. He's only 17. He started against Wolfsburg the other day. He's very Spanish with his style. Simple passing in the beginning. More adventurous ones latter in the game. Looks very composed for me. Our new hope after Gundogan How to embed video This post has been edited by ChaNzy: Sep 6 2014, 12:25 AM |

we're in the middle of transition here guys. I would rather Joachim Loew do it now than later. Don't want to be another Spain or England.
Overall, the build-up play is good. Defence is ok even though we're missing Lahm's presence. Our main problem lies with the CF. Muller is better off at the right as he often drifts inside to be the second striker when they have the ball and sticks to the wings during defensive mode. When he is shifted to the middle, the balance is off already. We need a proper replacement for Klose. All I can think of is Kevin Volland and Daniel Ginczek. As for the midfield, I still feel that Kroos is not really meant for the national team. He lacks the discipline and know-how to sit deep and dictate play. He's more of a conventional CM. Gundogan is the better choice as the latter stamps his authority in the field and drives the rest forward. We need a proper midfield general duos to replace both Basti and Khedira as I'm sure that Basti will retire from the NT after Euro 2016. I would go with Gundogan and Kramer. With some minor tweaking, we will be fine. The future is bright This post has been edited by ChaNzy: Oct 15 2014, 01:13 PM |

been watching guendogan for quite some time now and the more watch him, the more i think that he's the real successor to bastian. not kroos

We do move the ball around faster when guendogan is around. still don't really favour kroos cause I think he's quite slow in his game play..
we do need another no9 though lol |

with Lahm and Klose's retirement after winning the World Cup and Schweinsteiger's injury, I would go for a startinng line up of a 4-2-3-1 team like this
Neuer (GK), Howedes (LB), Hummels (CB), Boateng (CB), Durm (RB), Khedira, (CDM), Guendogan (CDM), Kroos or Ozil (CAM), Reus (LW), Mueller (RW), Gomez (CF). During attack, The line-up would transition into a 3-5-2 with Boateng, Hummels and Howedes manning a back three with Durm pushing up high as a RWB; similar to what Germany did during the World Cup only with Durm playing Lahm's role. The midfield three would remain the same while Mueller and Gomez would form a 2 man partnership up front. During defense, The line up would morph into a basic 4-4-2 with a two banks of four leaving the two strikers ready to pounce on loose balls. This is the safest line up i can think of since Hector and Durm are both inexperienced in the highest level. A full back pairing of Hector and Durm would be too much for Boateng and Hummels to guide. I also believe that Guendogan has what it takes to replace Schweinsteiger. Ability to control tempo, calm under pressure, technical, passing range etc. The only thing that is missing is probably the presence that Basti offers. Although i still believe France is the favorites for me. Still supporting Germany nonetheless |

seems to be similar tactics as displayed in the later stages of the World Cup. Only this time the full back pushing high up is the left back and Howedes is on the right.

Im very impressed with hummels yesterday. He's anticipation is world class. He sees the pass coming faster than anyone else. Intercepted quite a number if dangerous passes last night alonside boateng
