hey newbie here... just get my satio and im trying to download garmin on it since other gps need to use 3g or online to link with the sateli but garmin need no to online
the problem is my s60 is 5th version so far what i got is all for s60 3rd version.. anyone can help me on it?

do anyone knows how to surf the internet using 3g besides the wifi...coz sometimes theres no wifi and had to use 3g instead but there are no options for 3g connections?!!? keeps on scanning hidden wifi networks...

i think need to set 3G first...
my experience using 3G from maxis when i get satio....
because i went back to hometown and no internet acess then i use 3g lor....becuase my account isn't monthly 3G one and i forget subcribe my 1-day 3G package...
then end up 1 day waste 60 ringgit just surfing facebook....

If you are using garmin, it is cost a few cent to lock the gps, after successful found or lock the gps, then you can use it for free without any charge,

just download tat and install it.. it works one...
my 5800 also running on that garmin ver..

already configured my 3g settings..but dunno how to use it..whenever i open up the internet browser..it keeps showing on wifi connection...where is 3g?!

3G = WAP right??
my telco is maxis so when i open my satio then when finding connection then i just select Maxis WAP.

i dont have that option..only got wifi..maybe had to re-configured...

If the satellite lost or disconnect, it will reconnect again. While sucessful reconnect , it will charge a few cents again.

I think there is a setting so that every times when need to reconnect, there is a message asking for your permission.
You have to find at the setting section there.
