I believe this one was posted before but ....
SGX to introduce reduced board lot size from 19 January

Singapore Exchange (SGX) will reduce the standard board lot size of securities listed on SGX from 1,000 to 100 units from 19 January 2015. A smaller board lot size will make it more affordable for retail investors to invest in a wider range of equities, including blue chips, and enable them to build more balanced and diversified portfolios.

The reduction will apply to ordinary shares, including shares traded on GlobalQuote, real estate investment trusts, business trusts, company warrants, structured warrants and extended settlement contracts. Existing counters[1] with board lot sizes of 100 or less units will remain unchanged.

wah.. SGD6666 one counter.. thats hi-risk... whats the brokerage?

I normally buy blocks below SGD 2K.. brokerage + misc less than SGD 20.00
thats about 1%.... sometimes particular counter plus minus move more than 1% in a day..

so, i collect slowly over a span of time.

DJ Keppel Corp. Makes Over $2 Billion Offer to Buy Keppel Land (2015-01-23 06:28:00)

By P.R. Venkat

SINGAPORE--Singapore conglomerate Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) on Friday made up to a 3.2 billion Singapore dollar offer (US$2.39 billion) to take over the shares it doesn''t already own in its subsidiary Keppel Land Ltd. (K17.SG). If successful, the company would be the latest Singapore real-estate firm to be privatized by its majority shareholder.
In a filing to the Singapore Exchange, Keppel Corp. said it intends to pay as much as S$4.60 per share for the remaining stake.
Keppel Corp., which is over 20% owned by state-investment company Temasek Holdings Pte. Ltd., already owns a 54.6% stake in Keppel Land.
Property developer Keppel Land operates residential properties, commercial buildings and hotels and resorts in Asia including Singapore, China, Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam.

i was interested in the YIELD. Do not hv the time to analyse if it is recurrent yield or one off... and notice the price increasing daily.
