Would like to know buying & selling Singapore Shares.

What are the recommended good & reliable brokers to buy & sell?

How is their processing/commision fees, GST?

The charge are:
1. Brokerage, around 0.28% for small fish or minimum charge normally around $25, which ever higher.
2. Clearing fee 0.04%
3. SGX Access Fee 0.0075%.
4. GST of 7% applied to item 1 to 3.
Normally around $30 for normal trade less than $9,000.

For big fish, lower cost.

hi, when you mean small fish do you mean $30 - $9000? What about Big Fish?

Any good brokerage that's efficient, fast & reliable & offer low cost as I hear different brokerage have different rates.

if you open with Philip or CIMB you can buy SG shares / US shares/ HK shares

IF you buy SG shares via CIMB brokers.. then u call sell via any other brokers--> this is what i understood from the CIMB representative

Means if you buying stock less than $9,000, normally need to pay approx. $30 for brokerage etc.

You can use CIMB invest. Or link an account from CIMB malaysia.

You need to pay S$25++ per trade.

if you buy HK shares, pay HK$60++ per trade.

but.. the cross-border trading always expensive.

Just did a check on first half of first trading day. Penny plays still going good despite STI about -8 (0.3%). Will STI zoom past 3000 before end Jan 2010? smile.gif
