I understand what happened. Just dont understand what does that got to do with the movie storyline... rclxub.gif

They stick closely with how its presented in the graphic novel mah ...

Also, its like a parallel sub-text la, the same 'journey' and the emotional ups and downs and conclusion the two respective 'heroes' take in their stories ..

Agree U-571 is a good movie for testing our SUB.

Godzilla - The 1st part when Godzilla go inside the NY City, almost every step/move from Godzilla u can feel the SUB... Boomm Boomm Boomm shocking.gif AQ was superb with my new Subwoofer(Velodyne CHT-10Q) shining brightly with ever Step!!! Good soundfield lots of LFE, but not low LFE, A little un balanced.

G.I Joe - From scenes selection u choose number 2, being attack by enemy, AMAZING!! when the helicopter has been shoot by the enemy.. boomm bla boomm shakehead.gif. 2nd part - Enemy go inside to steal back the MARS box. SUb - Woom woom womm

Behind Enemy Lines - One of my best movie (Must have it). thumbup.gif Boomm boomm boomm...

Underworld - no need to say, I think everyone also agree about this great movie with perfect AQ icon_rolleyes.gif The LFE is superb, tons of bass. The surround channels are non-stop. This movie delivers incredible sound out of the left/right rear channels, the towers while keeping voices clear through the centre channel. This was 5.1 LPCM done right. Top marks, the sound adds SO MUCH to the movie.

FOR SUB
GODZILLA Audio is the real winner here. You hear some amazing bass and the surround sound really ads immersion to the 'big' feel of Godzilla.

Overall - AQ
I prefer - Underworld.

MJ's This is it.

Not the deepest bass on earth, more like hard pumpin bass throughout the movie....if you're a MJ fan, grab a box of tissues as well...it would have been a concert of the decade!

Godzilla BD's AQ is rather disappointing by lossless audio std. I bet mpyw would agrees on this whistling.gif

It lacks the tautness and sheer deepness of LFE compares to the recent releases, esp Transformers 2 and the top of the cream, Terminator Salvation drool.gif . It pressurize my whole room even at -18dB. The sheer bass weight is mind boggling sweat.gif .

I agree with Aremmie that U-571's AQ is a 'passe' by today's std.

Valkyrie worth a mention here as the opening scene and the air raid scene are one of the tightest and deepest LFE that I came across thumbup.gif .

Monster Inc. is definitely better than Godzilla. The other movie that has good LFE is Star Trek. The warp speed is jaw dropping shocking.gif .

Now, I am waiting for MJ's This Is It rolleyes.gif .

With more BDs being encoded with LFE below 20Hz, it is going to be a fun time for bass heads. You know who you are. tongue.gif
