no compressed size, that only apply to those buying retail, most of us from beta, so direct download the file from internet, no installations. copy to dvd also took like 5-6disc.

oh so meaning have to download 30GB from the net? hm... that IS quite big... haha havent tried downloading such a big file b4 ><

I use 1mbps stimix to download last time,start frm 12 mid-night to 8am morning..
took me 5 nights lol

that is long download time. any one working near to lowyat or KL so i can download it to my external hard drive. So anyone?

5 nights = 2 days and half (24hours)
play offfline games for 2 days, let your pc run 24hours, it wont blow.

Plus i think its 25Gb instead of 30GB, and its average capacity for a MMO games.

Can i download the game and try for maybe 3-7 days before i buy the cd? i heard quite alot of negative comment bout tera just feel like trying 1st before buying the cd.

Beta period is over. You are not allowed to download the game for a try. However, if you have a friend who is already playing it, he/she can invite you to try out the game for 7 days or until you reach level 15. Currently only one invite/account.

There are many cyber cafes nearby. But then again, why would you want to go to a cc?

TERA is made by Bluehole (Korean company). However, the company publishing the games are Enmasse (US) and Frogster (Europe).

You still have to buy the game first, and you will be given 30 days to play, which cost about 150 bucks. Subsequently you need to pay about 50 bucks/month after the 30 days have ended.

weee just bought the game... now to go home and install... LOL

Maybe you should share with the rest here where did you get the EU copy of the game, since downloading a big file is a problem for most people.

p/s. Hopefully you did not buy the North American version instead.

i bought the digital copy. thats why have to go home download the whole client... tmr night only can play lol bought from local lyn member at garage sale. and yes i got the EU version
