I guess it should be alright since we're not in it. Frogster runs the servers in the EU.

On the other hand, unlikely we'll be able to play in the NA servers because En Masse had already blocked all IPs coming from Asia.

i am sure Tera Euro no Ip Block to Malaysia yet. so far didnt encounter any lag issues or download problem.

just download another huge patch from Tera . took about 15hours to finished the download using streamyx4mb.
thought was 8gb the patch but i guess i am wrong. the whole Tera folder is now 48GB lol~

i think there is quite a few similar keyboard key as Blade and Soul. but Tera more fun.


tested Warrior, Archer,Sorcerer and Lancer.
i would say Lancer kinda boring. Sorcerer more fun among 4.


still waiting for Tera NA beta key.

Tera EU of cos. hmmm i didnt log in for about 1 week since the last sneakpeak.

my TERA EU folder still less than 24gb.. last time i played was earlier today before the server close.. better check ur client folder.. might have some unneeded files there

I'm envious that you guys could download it so fast. I'm still stuck with a 1MB line. Sad I know.

Anyway, how do you play on NA server? Proxy?

NA server doesn't even allow you to download the client. Don't think there is any other choice.

NA block Asian IP. I confirm this with one of their Account Support. They did full refund my pre-order Hahahaha. The only place where you can play right now is EU (www.tera-europe.com), They just finish Closed Beta I, and still plenty more to go until April. So yeah, topic starter should change the EN link to EU version instead :

When is it going to start? Are u all going to play EU version? Regarding the close beta... will they wipe out our account for the open beta? Quite noob at this...

The first intention is to be Indonesian community, but then my malaysian housemate told me that we should gather some lowyat member as well. Kindda remind us the old good days when we were still studying in Sunway hahaha. Which is why i'm converting the community to Asia community. It's been 8 years since i left Malaysia, but i still hang out with mostly Lowyat people in Singapore. I'm halfway converting the webpage, hopefully will finish this by this week before the next CBT start.


Basically now we are in the CBT stage. The first CBT started last weekend, the second will the week after this week (02/03 - 04/03) and yes the CBT is every 2 weeks for 3 days during weekend. This is all the way until the last CBT 13/04. Most people use this to try out every single character. You may visit our guild website to have overview of the CBT for EU here.

Next CBT is scheduled to be in 2 weeks time, meaning next next Friday. And yes accounts will be wiped after open beta in EU although in NA you keep your OBT characters which is a stupid move btw.. EU version would be your best bet for now seeing as how Malaysia isn't in the list of IP blocked countries. Full game will release sometime in May but if you pre-order you get a few days headstart and of course access to all the betas.

Also gives you a lot of time to mess with the character creation since you get to reserve 1 character prior to the headstart.

Time to make the perfect castanic.


Addendum: I will warn you though; the Europeans have the worst attitude in the world. You won't enjoy playing with them and I advise you not to make characters on the PvP server. Gail and I got ks'ed by stupid Spaniards when we were trying to take down bosses for our quests. Not much you can do but eh..
