IMHO, comparison should be done in this way:

quality + luxury + excitement + whatever-you-feel-good / price = index of worthiness

so we can compare proton saga with lamborghini diablo. it depends on yourself, whether the factor of self indulge worth the price.

I myself is thinking between the 2 also. I found this thread through google but found not constructive at all. Here is a link you may find more constructive, although I feel a little bias.
