hi guys,
i am new to Ipohne 3gs. Told that 3GS is much faster than 3G but it is really paining to know you need to wait for 45-60days to get one from MAXIS. i have asked maxis outlet in lowyat in ground floor and got reply that they will never commit anything on delivery ( may be 3 months or so).

seen so many mobile shops around lowyat itself selling the iphone 3gs ( ranging from 2700 to 3000) . Dont know are they original sets? what is the warranty?( one shop guy told that there is no warranty for iphone as thre is no service center for apple in malaysia). is there any differance between the one selling outside market and the one sold by maxis? ( any applications that dont come out of the box?????).

please throw some light on this as i finally decide to walk in to prebook from maxis today?( suggest any maxis center/MEP who can make faster delivery???) I need 3GS 32GB BLACK with ver 03.01

i wanna know is it safe to buy 3gs from outside market( lowyat mall have many phone dealers having it on pack) ? what is the difference buying from maxis and black market.( atleast in black market there is no contract and it is not locked so that i can use my celcom postpaid)

been to pavillion tonight at 7.30 pm and managed to get 32gb black one. They are running out of stock on 16 gb and you may get tomorrow first come first serve.

wonder why such mismanagement in maxis , when people prebook and scrathing their head for delivery, while others just walk away with itchy phone (no waiting &simple walkin as i did).

there is no such condition f spending rm 100 like that. In fact i did not pre book for iphone. just walkin and ask for 32gb phone. choose new number there and just walk with new phone( choose ivalue 2 for 2year contract).

i wonder they give some excuse for pre booked people( dont know where they book and may be other center) . it looks 16 gb is hot cake and sure they will distribute today many units( according to sales guy) so just go and grab yours.(first come first serve basis).

i bought 32gb phone yesterday and wrranty is only for one year. Is there any extended warranty by paying additional cost in malaysia?( bought the set in maxis pavillion with 2 year contract with maxis)

the promotion end by 8 november and it is open on sundays. like it may close by 11 in night and Pavilion is close to Time square ( Bukit bintang area).
