damn envy la. d problem is i always moving around. so i can't settle on gigantic toys that i will have to lug around whereever i go. as it is lugging my ps3 takes one huge bag already (but still within the 20kg limit - but if take airasia is extra already). looks like unless i change my career, i will never get to buy rockband instruments. life sucks
The rubber part of the yellow cymbal is peeling and falling off because of violent kids banging on it.
The 3.5mm port component of the orange cymbal already longgar somewhere inside and doesn't connect at all. The 3.5mm jack from the drum body is now jumped directly to the piezo plate, fastened with cellophane tape.
And the kick pedal... on my way back from seremban last weekend my sister must've left the cord dangling out the car door and it putus somewhere along the way.
I like bringing my expensive toys around for people to play, but god damn the GHWT drum and all its fragile parts!
On the other topic, is the RB2 drumset still not a universal USB device usable on all platforms? A Wii RB2 drumset can only be used on a Wii, etc, etc?

Walao ur story is too Impressive to read and wanted to luff while reading lolx Anyway sad , but well its time for a NEW ONE and the best part based on FEEL and QUALITY wise , RB2 Rocks big time compare to GHWT drums cos i owned both together and sold GHWT drums alone the other day btw.
And the PEDAL for RB2 , million times BETTER FEEL AND QUALITY in spring. With words is just hard to described but IT ROCKS SO GOOD
RM110 for a piece of flimsy rubber with flimsy wiring, GRAAHHH!!!
I'm sure i can fix the kick pedal but TRS connectors are such a damn pain to solder.
I guess i'll just get a RB2 drumset next, maybe get the cymbal addons if i can afford to, sigh. Paige, let me test drive your RB2 drums, can?
Sure , y not , When ? Anyway im so sad , becos i was hunting non stop for 2 weeks And i degraded in drums today , OMG , degrade so much , trying to tune myself back. I cant lose that momentum !

U tried on Band hero drums ar ? I tried before too , RB2 drums still the best
huhu paige.pc mine skill even gone to zero lol 1st when hunting now can't stop playing transformers need more time for RB2! my drum gan bass guitar skill no where near hard anymore T_T
Nub, yeah, i recommend getting the new set. And don't call the cymbals flimsy. I've banged them way too many times and it still works. Its the first batch that sucks (mine was the later enhanced batch, but horrible guitars).
i'll wait for rb3 before buying the drum set. surely it will be improved from the rb2 set. i'll do with ghwt drums at the moment, so i can still get my fix on it. good plan?

Actually, there's a high possibility that a RB3 won't be made. I'm not too sure.
But most likely an enhanced RB2 would be made available. reason, they are trying to push for Rock Band Pro on guitar.
Good choice too but yea agree with KYO abt the availbility of the RB3 drums. cos they didnt say much abt having new drums on RB3 but they did say a better improved triple cymbals.
But if i were u , i will just hunt around if any available on the RB2 drums Or just wait for RB3 releases.
Anyway i believe it is rare in the market cos according to lots of suppliers , RB2 bundles no more in production when i was searching high and low for my drums kit.
But i do believe even if theres no New RB3 Drums , i believe they will still sell it in different type of bundle.
