does the sound proofing really work on the tires area? i sound proof my 4 doors and it didn't really work. the tire noise is loud and whenever i go speeds of 110km/h, i need to turn the radio louder.

Will most likely be getting the 2010 Dugong E specs real soon.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw the tires that they give will be Goodyear NCT, should this be replaced with something better? Well, not talking about those performance tires but is it worth changing to something like a Michelin XM1 since can trade in while it is still new right?

About the tires, since the E specs comes with a 175/65 R14, if the tires should be changed to replace the Goodyear NCT, should I go for slightly bigger tires like the 185/60 R15 (as used in the G specs)? However, the default stock rims will not be usable anymore right?

I use Michelin XM1 195/60/R15.

I was quoted RM260 for XM1 195/60/R15, and PS3 195/55/R15 for RM280. Anybody know a cheaper place? I was told PS3 doesn't have /60/ and it is just RM20 extra compare to XM1.

How much differences are there XM1 vs PS3? Quietness is my top priority & performance is secondary.

Is it recommended to go for 185/60R14 or should just stick with 175/65R14? What are the pros and cons? Just wondering since the Vios G specs by default uses the 185/60R15 instead but don't want to be replacing the rims so soon.

change rim to E version..
change tyre to michelin xm1 185/65R14..
added door visor mugen type..
added extra mat..

next plan:
to add spoiler(maybe air master bootlip)
add fog lamp..
tinting film(my budjet rm800,if u guys got good tint type, plz feel free to rec to me, THX)

Switching to a larger wheel would not affect the FC and pick-up of your car   In fact, you'll feel that the handling is much better especially on highways.

it is because of the sluggish 7 speeds GB? i heard most city previous gen and another gen earlier than previous gen, both have GB problem... cost of the GB for new about RM20k..

how much vios 06 facelifted cost now? if u were to get second hand, y not get new vios with lower spec?

They say the gb prob is because of cvt. Thats y toyota never bring cvt to msia. They had a survey and most msian dun like cvt. And thats y new gen city no more cvt.

Oh yea. Maybe they had upgraded their cvt tech as this is Super CVT-i!  Cuz if im not mistaken T said that msian dun like cvt cuz of the way it change gears. But they claim this cvt is more like a conventional auto gb. Dunno about the reliability tough.

i keep shifting between D and N for 4 years, nothings wrong or maybe im lucky.

yesterday i run 150km at highway, i feel float and like the wind is blocking my way, and i feel the steering is not hard.....

Yes it can go that fast. when i travel to kl maintain 140 - 160kmh not a problem for my car. but i still didn't feel the speed..huhu..that why always want push more..haha..

Bought fog lamps for my Vios. All the specs here doesn't comes with fog lamps.

i would like to know, is it Vios 2011 will have dual air beg and spot light for J spec? my friend said, she went to the showroom to ask, the sales person told her, all vios will get dual air beg since 2011.

is it true?
