QUOTE(claricecmw @ Oct 7 2009, 11:55 AM) Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Bought my UEM 5K units yesterday at 1.53 n sold it off at 1.55 just now... This is what i call peanut gain.... very different from Jason's 20% gain concept! To be honest, I do not think RM100 range is call peanut. If we realize nowadays RM100 cannot last long. But then again, it is free lunch for you. So, congratz

For those that loves Maxis...
DJ Maxis' IPO Pre-Marketing To Start Next Week - Source --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--The pre-marketing for Maxis Bhd.'s initial public offering of shares, possibly Malaysia's largest IPO in recent years, will start next week, a person familiar with the deal said Wednesday.
"The pre-marketing will start next week, while the listing exercise is targeted to be completed by the end of November," the person told Dow Jones Newswires on condition of anonymity.
The underwriters for the exercise will include JP Morgan, Nomura, and UBS, in addition to CIMB Investment, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs which have been named in a draft prospectus as the bookrunners.
Malaysia's dominant mobile phone operator last month said in the draft document posted on the Securities Commission Web site that it is looking to sell some 2.25 billion shares, or a 30% stake.
The document didn't disclose the expected offer price, but analysts have estimated the IPO to raise at least $2 billion.
Analysts said this would make it the largest IPO in Malaysia for several years and would underline the growing appetite for initial public offerings in Asia as the region begins to emerge from the global economic crisis.
Maxis is 75%-owned by reclusive telecommunications and media tycoon Ananda Krishnan, who took the company private two years ago via his privately-held Usaha Tegas Sdn. Bhd. The remaining 25% stake is held by Saudi Arabia state-owned Saudi Telecom Co. (7010.SA)
Maxis said only its Malaysian operations will be included in the share offer. It plans to restructure its business ahead of the share sale so that its sizable overseas operations will remain with parent Maxis Communications Bhd., or MCB. The parent's overseas investments include India's Aircel and Indonesia's PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler.
Maxis has 11.4 million mobile phone subscribers, representing around 40% of total mobile phone subscriptions in Malaysia as of June 30. It had revenue of MYR8.5 billion in 2008 and MYR4.2 billion for the six months ended June

QUOTE(Neon_ @ Oct 7 2009, 02:14 PM) It really looks like conspiracy. The pre-closing session was over but the trade on higher price managed to slip through. Later, there were follow up trades on the same price. At the end, the trades were allowed by Bursa. Just wonder, the Bursa got bugs.

Looks like KLK's error turn out to be a boon for ppl who long FKLI...
The KLCI also seem to be holding on to the gains made by KLK... which is fueling the fact it is possible that all this rubbish might be a Kospirasi.
Anyone got the price before the error occured...
this will confirm the fact the KLK retained its momentum, if the share price prior to the error was lower than the price today.

Bursa cannot cancel the order, they only can cancel the order/transaction it those error is caused by its server or matching issue. The error come from the broker keyed in order, not at Bursa side. As if Bursa allow cancelling order that matched, next time a lot of parties also request for it. Whenever buy too high, request for cancelling the transaction. I don't see where is the conspiracy theory come from. Manipulation or purposely jack up closing price may be (which is norm, especially on book closing date for window dressing etc), but not on conspiracy theory.
