There is a catch in Intel's plan on entering the mobile plan market.
One of the their R&D Engineer claimed that their mobile processor will have around 7 days of standby time as opposed of ARM's 3 days(usually)
I don't know about you guys but if Intel did managed to make a processor with this kind of low power consumption I'll go for it even if the OS is little crappy.

Another advantage of Intel mobile processor is the ability to run x86 application.It should be possible to run desktop class application directly in the mobile phone depending on the OS.
MeeGo 1.2(Handset version) should be supporting x86 execution.

This is why MeeGo have two testing device;N900 & Aava Mobile
N900 is the testing device for ARM based device & it should be released 1st.
Aava mobile is the testing device for the Intel Moorestown based device.No idea on Intel processor powered MeeGo device.The guys at MeeGo IRC channel are very tight lipped on this.

Frankly speaking Snapdragon is overated.Just wait till TI's Cortex A9 used widely.

if they were to do an upgrade even at a cost, I don't think they will be giving it to N97 Mini. Seems like N97 has a better say on this. Because N97 is larger in terms of physical size. It's easier to fit new stuff in but seriously that won't happen. That's not normal at all in business sense.

X6 has no chance. No phone will have chance of a hardware upgrade. It just isn't a normal practice. You would rather come out with a new model than to upgrade existing. Why? Because it will generate a lot more interest in enthusiast than just upgrading the old product. People love new products not old upgraded products.

n97 mini need multitouch too, and maybe a faster proc (like 1ghz) and better graphic (leave it to nvidia and amd, haha)

Someone in the forum said he read somewhere that multtiouch on resistive screen is possible but in a sense now only capacitive are capable of multitouch. Google for Stantum screen. It's multitouch possible resistive screen

then come out with something like Neonode N2, the screen is awesome even though only 2.0"

Simplest reason why N97 will never get Symbian^3 - Lack of decent graphics

Symbian^ needs a good graphic chip to accelerate the whole graphic process.It also helps reducing the CPU load.
Lack of the decent graphic chip is the hardware limitation of N97 from getting Symbian3.
