Can you plug your phone into your comp via Mass Storage, then go to Computer, Right click your Mass Storage, Properties, Tools, Defragment Now, Check your fragmentation percentage. If high, please defragment. My experience on X6 was it fragments to a very high percentage. But N900, very low. 0%. Do a defragmentation to your mass storage, usually speed up your phone smile.gif

I checked, it said "You do not need to defragment this volume"
it's my X6 hmm.gif

i dont think there is any nokia phone come pre-installed with garmin in the factory...

install garmin:

1. purchase ori software from authorized dealer, complete with license key and everything  icon_rolleyes.gif

OR

2. install in hp shop, mostly *AHEM* version (just like ur pc *AHEM* microsoft office and *AHEM* need for speed  laugh.gif )

cant continue to AHEM here and there, later kena vakesyun from mods  sweat.gif

but anyway, Ovi Maps is better than Garmin, more accurate, less 'recalculating' which is annoying...
*
Garmin more POI as they say...really, in my kampung area also so many POI that I never knew

i dont know, but sure gonna be expensive...

ovi maps is basically free to use, but if u update certain things during navigation (eg. routes, landmark) then ur operator may charge u for using gprs/edge/hsdpa data connection....
*
put to offline mode then ovi maps is free.. notworthy.gif

Turn off A-GPS in Positioning methods. But not advisable because it will become slow to lock on

so out of this 5,which 1 should i disable?
assisted gps  hmm.gif this is the offending one, but if you turn this off, your lock on to satellite will be slower
integrated dps  thumbup.gif this must be on
bluetooth gps - off
wifi/network - off
network based - off
*
Even if A-GPS is on also won't spend much..generally around 10sen

I don't know, but that day I use Garmin to navigate from my school to home, it takes about 5secs to recalculate. But the route is short...about 3km
