well, i bought my n97 mini at rm800 thanks to a nice forumer here, during when the retail price was RM12xx....

of coz i wont say n97 mini is 100000 times better than ipoo or vice versa, but come on lah, a phone is still a phone, i rather spend rm2-3k on a decent laptop or dslr than spending on something which got so much limitation, so overhyped and so overrated by naive fans.....

as i said before, i'm still using the N-brand bcoz i trust its hardware quality... if not bcoz of this, i now already holding a samsung or htc on my hands....

i dono abt u guys, but me as student and a parttime working guy cant afford a 2.5k phone just for the sake of showing off without any other good purpose...

well,that depend how u look at it... for nokia,they have so many phone selling so they does not need to phase out any of their model asap from the market provided the demand still there... for apple,they only have 1 model n that all even they r different gen but still is the same... if they dun phase it out,their lastest model wont sell like hot cake in malaysia...

last time, when i get my N97 mini, it is about 800 like that for 2nd hand with another 5 months warranty to go.

it have too since a lot of company producing smart phone like CSL...

CSL is not a big threat for Nokia. Apple, Samsung and HTC are big concern for the Nokia.

but CSL price is freaking cheap... Apple,Samsung n HTC threaten nokia bcoz iOS n android... well,let c how nokia goin to fight back with WP7...

Despite the fact that i am skeptical with their cooperation, I still hope for the best for Nokia.

Anyway, I heard that N900 users can install Android into their phone unofficially. N97 mini can do so?

n900 is running on linux so basically it is like a com... it can boot meego or android... but n97mini is different which running on symbian,so i doutb it can do it...

unless there's someone who is crazy enough to do some software moddings to n97 mini

Every phone also same lar. If you can hack it and have a copy of the software that runs on a closely matched specifications, you can do it. I dont think you can find any Android or Meego devices using the dual core ARM11 in Nokia N97. If there is such phone, someone would have try to engineer something.

I think we might be able to see WP7 for the N97 mini rather than the Windows 95.

By the way, Nokia 5800 processor can be overclocked, i think N97 mini also can.

Just that we lack of a good sifu to teach that.

Windows havent run on ARM processor.

Rumors was the Windows 8 is going to run on ARM processors.
