waaahhh... naik banyak pulak tu... hmm, either way, rm280 is not that expensive. now waiting for walabies' pm. biggrin.gif thanks moniqee!

umm, i have another question for everyone. According to most websites, open-air headphones should provide a very good soundstage. Wide soundstage with good separation of the instruments. that's what they say with the AD300. However, this does not seem to be the case with the grados and alessandros. They're famous for their open-air headphones, yet they're also famous for the narrow soundstage. Is it because of the size of the cans? i mean, their headphones aren't as big as full-sized headphones, thus the narrow soundstage? hmm.gif

the price jacked up a bit coz since malaysia ad got their official distributor... the price of AT products been controlled...

just be careful when buying M30, coz there's a lot of fake out there... buy from authorize dealer only... but that doesnt mean the cheap one is fake and the expensive one is original..
biggrin.gif
*
i think should be no worries coz haven't heard any reported case of fake M30...

hi guys, need a quick recommendation. what would be a good and versatile IEM that can handle pretty much anything you throw at it (ie, rock, pop, dance, vocals, instrumentals, lounge)? would much prefer one with more details without sacrificing too much bass. currently eyeing either the bijou3's or the hippo shroom still cant decide. anything else that would fit into my RM200 budget?

@feiraron: So mean...  cry.gif Too expensive! lol But yeah, beautiful @__@

@moniqee: Wow. Cool. The ES7 looks perfect! @__@ I'm torn between ES7 and M50 :}

@akgmalaysia: Nice, but the colours look kinda awkward.  sweat.gif  Thanks for the rec though wink.gif

Thanks a lot guys!! I'll definitely keep your recs in mind.  notworthy.gif RESPECT!!
*
i think the ES7 suits u perfectly coz of the short cable compared 2 M50 which the cable can be quite bulky...

Hurm. I'm not a basshead and I don't know what drives you to say that. What I really like is separation. I love to listen to a song and be able to separate the drum from the guitars if you know what I mean. Don't want it to be messy plus I'm not a fan of cloudy bass which will drown every other sound.

I almost ended up with Grado SR60 but I took a step back once I auditioned and find it quite uncomfortable for me. But it has a very good SQ for metal songs in terms of the bass and clarity mixing but somehow I found that it's not good separation wise. Other than that it's a decent can for it's price. Please don't bash me if I'm using the wrong terms here.

I really wanna try AKG AT and high end Senns say HD650 but haven't found the right place to test even one of it. Gonna drop to the shops you guys suggested, maybe I'll found one.

Thanks.

EDIT:Any other suggestion for my cup of tea?

i second Audio Technica AD series really fits ur preference if u want comfortability, good seperation n wide soundstage... unless if ur looking into something portable...

AD700 colour combination is a bit weird. sweat.gif Actually wanted to get the AD400, but then found out that AD500's driver is same size as AD700, but not as expensive as the AD700.
*
if dat's the case go 4 AD900 lor... brows.gif

Hi, I really love the ATH-ESW9. My budget is max of $500 USD. I listen to mainly rock and some trance, electronic, and vocals thrown in the mix. I was looking at the ATH-AD1000PRM.

Any other recommendations for a full-sized headphone?

Thank you
*
i think u can get a second hand unit AD2000 with dat cash...

seems like ur more into bass... based on ur budget...
1. Hippo Boom (as the name should be easy 2 know wat it sounds like biggrin.gif )
2. Music Valley SP1 (quite a balanced type with narrow soundstage quite suitable 4 fast beat IMO)
3. Soundmagic PL21 (not really sure but heard it focused more on bass 2...)

I recently like music from headphone rather than from those 2.1 system I have. So, here the question are there any good headphone that can accompany a variety of music and only cost below Rm 150 with a modern design plus portability? Thanks to anyone who can provide the answer fast biggrin.gif

PS: I'm a noob at selecting any musical hardware
*

Hi guys, thanks for your suggestion.

@towkey
The Fischer Audio Eterna is too much for me, and too bad i missed the Music Valley SP1 promotion at here, now it's selling for RM180 sad.gif So I guess left only Hippo Boom from your suggestion.

@g3n0c|d3
Upon browsing the SoundMAGIC PLXX series, I came across the PL11, they said it's for bass so I might consider this one.

So now it's between the Hippo Boom and SoundMAGIC PL11, anyone can suggestion which one is better?

Thanks again! smile.gif

if u don mind a used SP1 u can PM me 2 hehe... tongue.gif
