could it be his previous owner haf torture him before and it make him feel very protective now...consult other vets...giving him up isnt a good idea...take it slowly and i believe he will gain the trust slowly...because nobody knws wat he haf been tru in the past...i believe he just being so fierce is to protect himsef...try to play with him using some toys or snacks...talk to him more...he will slowly understand and accept u and ur family haf no harm on him...dun give him up...dun make it happen the second time on him...

QUOTE(rkkyong @ Dec 3 2009, 10:11 AM) Hi , Is it OK to send a 4 mth old MS for full grooming ? Dunno if the groomer was too bz and lied to me. She only did basic grooming and told to wait until 6 mths of age. She told me full grooming at 4 mths old would make the fur coarse !!! i oso would like to knw about this...coz my breeder already full groom Tom before handing to me...as u can see the pic...he already in his schnauzer clip...but haf to wait until 6 mths of age is quite long for me...my Jerry (toy poodle) did his full groom at 3 mths++..but is a different breed so im not very sure... |

QUOTE(jas5858 @ Dec 6 2009, 09:58 PM) txlot bebe_jenny28 , yaya...the market price with mka is around rm1800 to rm2000...ms price increase like crazy because of the hk drama...i ask to see his mother before i purchase it and his mother is quite small size...even she just gave birth to 3 litters only (1 gal and 2 boys included Tom)...and the colour is very salt and pepper...coz i dont really like too dark colour... ^^ya ..rm1200 w mka is really cheap, summore i c in d pics,Tom's quality n features is good , so worth it ~~ last wk i saw 2 ms w mka selling in a petshop asking for rm1900 !! in chinese jbtalkx thread w/o mka, the sellers r asking for rm1200-rm1300, hmmm .... o ya, did u c Tom's parents ? wats their sizes ? Cutie Jerry oso got it frm d same kennel ? i bought jerry from petshop at rm1600 with mka oso...but i think jerry is quite worth tat price because he is small size and the quality is really good...and alot of ppl said jerry's price is reasonable...so im quite lucky to get both of them in these prices...hope u'll get urs soon...i think linggene finish with all the pups at the moment except shih tzu...u may check with them when will they have stock again...good luck dear ^^ This post has been edited by bebe_jenny28: Dec 6 2009, 11:12 PM |

QUOTE(Nitrous @ Dec 8 2009, 01:37 PM) Mine does, and he finds it irresistable. thx a lot for ur clear explanation...but tom is just 7 weeks now...do u think its safe to bring him to the vet so small?First thing, you should take your kid to your vet to check if he is digesting his food properly. Dogs sometimes ingest their poop as there are remnants of undigested food there. Disgusting as it may seem to us, it is quite acceptable for them. If it is all clear from the vet, it may be more of a behaviour or stress rather than indigestion. Sometimes, the dog behaves like that due to his instinct or due to stress. We should not scold or raise our voice to MS, as they are quite sensitive to it. He may think that you are scolding him when he poops, and thus he will eat it to conceal the 'evidence'. What we did was we leave the poop there (if he poops on the correct spot) while watching him closely. If he walks over and tries to eat it, we will tell him "NO" and ask him to "SIT". Repeat a few times, and he will get the point sooner or later. Occasionally "accident" happens, especially during the night, but I guess that can't be avoided. According to my vet, he will grow out of it. We can't wait for that day.... |

QUOTE(Nitrous @ Dec 8 2009, 02:23 PM) Good question, I m not too sure about that. Why don't you call up your friendly vet and ask instead of going there straight? He/she should be able to give you advise over it and also tell you when is the best time to head over. However, you do need to visit the vet eventually for Tom's vaccination, and you can ask him then as well. so is ur ms stop eating his own poop already?Good luck! |
