In Sandakan, we use Cantonese and Hakka.

Mandarin is mostly used by kids from SJKC/ SMJK.

I wonder did our government really think of developing these two states?

A couple of days ago I went to Sabah for an assignment but seems there is no improvement at all compare to the last time I went about 6 years ago.

Why is that the case?

Sabah and Sarawak are great potentials
The people are friendly there, there are minimal racial discrimination.
Sabah and Sarawak have plenty of natural resources.
It has potential to grow into a South East Asia hub for business, sports, leisure and education.

The locals there told me that Najib once said that the roads in East Malaysia are far more better than West Malaysia, but what I saw is some roads are even worse than those in India or Indonesia. Not even a highway is built.
*
Great Potential for you to Exploit the natural resources like what West Malaysian UMNO did on Sabah.

If you are not from East Malaysia, please go back to your west. Bcos these resources is for Sabah & sarawakian future generation. Its not You to teach us what to do.Its us who finance you & you should be aware your West never actually offer anything in return besides exploitation & cronyism.

Besides, you are just judging from tip of an Iceberg, not know whats actually real situation.

Sarawakians have good entrepreneurial skills...

Look at them...

Parkwell, Servay, Ngiu Kee, Everise, Boulevard can withstand onslaught from Giant.

i love sarawak. but lack shopping centre. But we got lyn, selling a lot of stuffs cheaper than market. LYN is like east lowyat plaza for sabahan and sarawakian
*
why need shopping complex? At the end of the day, the purchasing power not even as strong as developed country.
Go look yr selangor la dude...here there shopping mall. How Many shopping Mall that actually utilised to full capacity? Last times Times Square very cool wor...now like shit....last time those BB area cool wor..now...dead tourist area....so does a Shopping Mall feasible for people in Sarawak? no. Basically rubbish building. Pasar Malam returns even better.
