Region 3 is easy to get DLC, since can use Malaysia PS Store.

I think those in the game console can give more detailed answer, because well, they actually play games. Most, if not all are more focused to home theater and music here. I originally bought the PS3 only for blu-ray.

I think that 50% of the PS3 users bought it to play BD originally. Even the PS3 subforum is full of people who've had one for a long time, but never use to play games until recently. Might have something to do with the fact that most BD players were double the price of a PS3 when it first launched

yeah it was real value for money as a BDP when it was launched and could load BDs twice or 3 times as fast as a real BDP at that time.. (now still considered as reference benchmark to beat..)

PS3 has always been one of the faster BDPs. I'm pretty sure Wireless BD-Live is also a factor for new owners

My PS3 now belongs to Aiman. There's 720p Mr Bean Holiday, Speed Racer, etc which he watches from time to time. He's finished Lego Indiana Jones, now hard at work to finish Lego Batman on PSP. Any body selling Lego Star Wars for PS3 cheap cheap? Last game I bought for him was LittleBigPlanet. I only use it when I wanna listen to Erich Kunzel SACD. Aiman is also the one who tells me if there's a new firmware update.
