Splinter Cell CONVICTION

I think the war is going well. I'm in a scenario in the Spanish Civil War. While I'm out numbered, i've managed to encircle the enemy and used tactical bomber to get an advantage in battles. This one particular group is cut out and should be defeated. Since the enemy has eaten a lot of my provinces, I don't have the industrial capacity to build new units.



In EU3, my Japan 1399 start sees me annexing the Ryuku faction which holds out at Okinawa. Didn't expect Okinawa to be an independent state at the start. My mission is to build an army double the size of my starting army and funds are getting tight. Will have to make do with this for now. Hopefully can get a colonist in a few years to colonise Taiwan.

Life as a firefighter (or should I say Fire Chief? Yes. Hes now the top of his career!)

23rd August 1936, Pushed back to Madrid, I brace for a tough fight.


20th September 1936, managed to push the Nationalists back. Things are looking up now.


11th October 1936, the war in the north is going well. The Nationalists are pushed towards the mountians. Defeating them there will be tough. And the nationalists are also trying to push back from the south of Madrid. 2 corps will do the work to hold them back while hopefully I can push them all the way back to La coruna. Temperatures dropping though. I can either push straight for La coruna or take on the mountain defenders.

Just a suggestion frags, maybe you could finish ur game and try writing out the whole process in a new thread with all the drama and bloodshed included. Plus screenies too.
Would be very interesting to see how it turns out with a narrative.

How many people interested in a dedicated Hearts of Iron 3 thread for AAR? I don't think many people would care. A few problems. The game is long.......I just spent about an hour today and in game it was less than a month. I don't have that amount of time to even think about finishing. This current scenario is actually kinda like a tutorial for me. Still learning the system, although I think I know a lot more now that I really enjoy this game.

And of course there are the other games which I enjoy a lot too like EU3 and EU: Rome. I do love writing like status reports of my game. It's always a good way of demonstrating just the strategic and tactical depth this game has.

I'll think about it.
