Ferdinand was solid yesterday. A lot of clearences from him and fletcher+scholes in midfield really dominated well smile.gif Seldom loosing the ball and manage to hold the ball well..

Wasn't nani's best match tho =P

QUOTE(Ken @ Sep 30 2009, 02:23 PM)
sorry, you have to be exceptional top performance only can stay in the first team of man united or the other top 3 epl clubs ...

tosic is good but his level only good for teams like portsmouth or burnley ... and i doubt even he good enough for villla or everton.

unless drastic improvement from him like fletcher, else he will follow manucho fate.
*
Tosic hasn't even got his real first team opportunities due to pack of midfield in our team. We don't even know if he is good or not good enough for us. So judging him is good only for teams like portsmouth/burnley NOW is wrong. It's still early bro...

Ferguson wants him to develop slowly so he is playing for our reserves team first. Even highly rated macheda/welbeck ain't got their opportunities yet.

Judging from that, a good example is lassana diarra. He was just a sub for arsenal and chelsea but joined portsmouth at the age of 23 then won a cup with them at that season. Now he is playing for real madrid, considered one of the best DM in the world...

Wolfsburg are indeed scary. It will be a tough challenge for our team but winning such game will actually increase the team morale and "form" too.

I'm actually enjoying watching manutd playing this season much more than last season. I think we're focusing more goals from our strikers but last season it was more to "ronaldo please score" and yes he was the person who deliver most of our goals. Just imagine if our strikers score something like Dzeko and grafite did in the bundesliga 08/09. smile.gif

seriously, wasted my time staying up for this rubbish performance from 'em...
wat on earth happened to saf mind to start welbeck against brucey's team??? does he really think that sunder-land is some pariah-eeasy-pushover team???
welbeck?? starts??? ahead from few others?? on the bloody wing?!?!?!?!? c'mon..... shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif  shoot me if u wan, can someone ask welbeck to stay in reserve till sunset and wait there diam2?? i dun see any talent in him at all!!! i dun care for all the goals that he has scored, everytime he scores, his celebration damn bloody arrogant....for a young kid with tt kinda attitude?? i dun like wat i'm seeing...i'd rather put kiko ahead of him...and why not tosic?????!!!!!

foster....he's utter rubbish....he's given enuff chances to prove his worth...like the great dane once said: you're not good enuff for manutd. so, f/off. go play in reserve till sunset....dun come back......i'd rather play PIG....if foster is given enuff playing time like that even after all the blunders, i'd say freaking START PIG!!!!!!!

like mentioned in my previous post, these 2 jokers dun belong to manutd. u can quote me on that. they're getting playing time mainly becos they're ingulis. imagine if they're polish, or italian or other nationalities, slow2 wait on the bench la u.
*
Relax la bro...once in a while..such thing will happen...

I've no comment about fergie's selection..as he knows what is better...welbeck was given the chance must be due to his recent performance playing in league cup..which he has impressed and scored. It wasn't only one or two players who didnt play well..but actually almost the whole team...especially first half..

Regarding the performance, berbatov's overhead kick was an outstanding one...and evans did a pretty good job taking rio's cb role..besides that nth much i can say tongue.gif

Stay positive guys...we have won almost all the cups the last three seasons...smile.gif

So Cech, VDS, Reina, Given, Howard, Friedel, Sorenson, Almunia, and Cudicini can't jump?

What is Wiley got to do with the equalizer? that &%$^$ referee denied us a penalty sweat.gif In the 4 minuted added time, we are the one that pressing the ball in Sunderland half. The referee blew the whistle right after 4 minutes, he scared to his pants to add any few second to the match.

I agree that things would have changed if we have got a penalty. The team would have gained confidence/morale and done better if we scored..

What happened to Park?
I think he is sorely missed!
*
Alex ferguson is rotating the midfield a lot. Park ji sung started only two games this season i think..burnley and mc....we have really a lot of wingers and sometimes park isn't even in the sub list..nani, giggs & valencia are ahead of him..just like how nani wasn't in the sub list against wolfsburg and giggs yesterday tongue.gif

Carrick must start. he is starting to hit top form based on yesterdays performance n against wolfsburg. I remember last year carrick and fletcher are the dynamic duo.
*
I think he is finding his form back too. He looked better than during the early season which is why he failed to get back into the first-team. We need more deadly passes from him smile.gif

Ritchie De Laet has been rewarded with a new contract at Manchester United that ties him to the club until 2012.

De Laet, 20, was a surprise signing for the club when arriving from Stoke City in January and has made two appearances for the first team at Old Trafford, most recently as a substitute in the 1-0 Carling Cup victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.

However, De Laet appears to have impressed Sir Alex Ferguson and with a loan exit firmly ruled out, the Belgian defender has extended his contract at Old Trafford.

"Alex Ferguson told me I'm very close to the first team," De Laet told the Sun. "There has been talk of me going out on loan but Sir Alex said I can't leave as he may need me. The new contract is a surprise and fantastic news."

De Laet never made an appearance for Stoke City but made three appearances during a loan spell with Wrexham at the end of 2008.

It is also reported that United forward Danny Welbeck is close to signing a new contract after some encouraging performances for the first team.

This boy is able to play anywhere back four...promising lad...glad to have him tied up to the club smile.gif

France underperformed at Euro 2008 and have struggled in qualification for next summer's World Cup, but Patrice Evra has called on his international team-mates to raise their game and book their place in South Africa.

After all, life at Carrington would be unbearable for Patrice if France didn't make it to the 2010 finals.

"I'm very focused on getting to the World Cup with France. I think if we don't qualify there will be a lot of jokes," Evra told ManUtd.com.

"Last year when England didn't qualify for Euro 2008, I told the England players at United that they could borrow my remote control because they would be watching a lot of TV.

"I don't want to give them the opportunity (of revenge), that's my main ambition!"

The race for automatic European places at the 2010 World Cup reaches its climax with two rounds of international fixtures on Saturday 10 and Wednesday 14 October.

France are at home in both matches, but they go into the games four points behind the Group 7 leaders - Nemanja Vidic and Zoran Tosic's Serbia.

"My focus is now on the national team, and our games with the Faroe Islands and Austria," Evra

told us.

"We haven't been in a good position, we're probably going to have to go through the play-offs but I trust in my team.

"We have a lot of excellent players but maybe we've under-performed. We were very disappointed with the European Championships, going out in the first stage. But I think we are playing well now.

"We only picked up two points in our last two games against Romania and Serbia but we played so well.

"People didn't criticise us either. They just said, 'unlucky.' I never like to use that word but this time we were unlucky."

Evra overtook abidal's position as france's first choice left-back and facing stiff competition from arsenal's gael clichy..good luck my man smile.gif
