I think we will see giggs in action. Maybe 4-3-3?
Owen probably will play alone upfront... --------------VDS------------- Oshea----Rio-----Vidic------Evra -------------Fletcher------ -----Scholes/Anderson---Giggs--- Valencia----Owen----Nani/PJS---- This post has been edited by nshady: Oct 16 2009, 09:32 PM |

QUOTE(Pain_X @ Oct 17 2009, 01:31 PM) I dont think its safe to 'test' players out against a team like Bolton, especially now that both our best strikers might be missing. Well you're right. Playing against sunderland home is a good example how we can drop points. If it was up to me,i think we should play Nani on the left and Valencia or Park on the right with Giggsy just behind the possible strikers. Too many untested youngsters could spell disaster for us and we wouldnt want a bigger gap to open up at the top,do we? We might field only one striker, we have anderson to play as second striker tho, giggsy, park and valencia should appear in lineup too With the absence of fletcher, carrick might even step in to partner scholes. |

We did really well during the first 70 minutes until bolton scored a goal. Evans looking solid, gary looked good on the attacking side as well. Giggs showing he's capable of ruining the opponents defence

The MOTM would either be Giggs or Valencia.

The kid was just playing around but pity him if he's a hardcore liverpool fan. Fans surrounding him would have blamed him and the tragedy might have haunt him. Hopefully everything'll be alright.

I have a question to ask, when a player is injured for a period(example fletcher) not playing for 2 weeks and suddenly play in a high-profile game like liverpool. Is this going to effect his morale and etc in the game?
And i have always wondered if our first team players playing in moscow would have enough time to travel back rest train again for that match. Must be fast enough to regain back their fitness. This post has been edited by nshady: Oct 20 2009, 12:24 PM |

QUOTE(GIGGS_11 @ Oct 20 2009, 02:20 PM) I think professional players may able to cope with the high profile game even after they been out for some period. I see, fletcher hasn't play since sunderland's match as for rooney since england playing against ukraine. They need to pass the fitness test and medical approval before allow them to involve in the game. Manager will has the last decision anywhere. However, some injury cases like Hargreaves may required more playing time in the reserve to gain back his fitness. I remember last time Ferdinand need a energy bar to maintain his energy when he came back from 8 months suspension or injury (not sure) during a match with Liverpool... I think we won that match QUOTE(Nic87_Lowyat @ Oct 20 2009, 03:44 PM) Tomorrow night bro |

This sunday's match will be a very tough one. We aren't in a very good form either, we may have dominated first 70 minutes against bolton but afterthat we were like unable to hold the ball much anymore. Liverpool will be very desperate for a win especially against us, which would entirely change their mood. So far, only evra has confirmed for anfield's game while rooney is still fighting for fitness and giggs & fletcher still remain a doubt.
Tonight's UCL game will be earlier at 12.30 am, so expecting us to rest some key players? Anyway, most of them are injured already. This post has been edited by nshady: Oct 21 2009, 01:08 PM |

Vidic seeks the perfect gift
QUOTE Birthday boy Nemanja Vidic is hoping for the perfect present when United meet CSKA Moscow in Russia tonight. http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid=...&newsid=6641616The Serbian centre-back says victory in the Luzhniki Stadium would be the best way to celebrate turning 28. But his appearance at the heart of United’s defence will hinge on how he pulled up after the Reds’ training session on Tuesday evening. Vidic missed United’s match against Bolton last weekend through injury but was confident of being passed fit for action against CSKA. “I’ll see how I go at training, especially because the match will be played on a plastic pitch. But I hope I’ll be ready,” he told MUTV on Tuesday afternoon. The defender is expecting “a difficult game” against a Russian side he knows all too well after spending 18 months at rivals Spartak Moscow. “The Spartak-CSKA rivalry is like United-Liverpool, so I might get some stick off their fans,” he admitted. “But it will just inspire me to play better and help us win the game.” Happy Birthday Nemanja Vidic! Maybe alien2003 can change the topic description! This post has been edited by nshady: Oct 21 2009, 05:01 PM |
