oh i just read. chelsea did have only 9 players left in the end. including the keeper. because Ashley Cole went off injured and they had used all the substitutes already.

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Sep 27 2009, 01:31 AM) precisely, of course i am not suppose to compare him to giggs but nani definitely need to see how giggs does it. but then again, that dipping shot he did at one point was niceeeeee. for some reason, keepers of the opp team tend to be super goalies when they are against us |

I don't know why but Carrick has lost his pace and accuracy
Getting old perhaps? Or the pressure of watching Fletch? |

It's not that I don't want him to play, but Rooney is a must, and Berba too is important in the way we play. With him we stand a better chance of holding onto the ball better IMO.QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Sep 27 2009, 01:31 AM) He need a run of games. He was starting the season well I thought although he wasn't spectacular always, but it was an improvement from last season and on his way to recapture the form of his first season. But SAF rotate the squad him along with the other wingers giving them bench time etc, and he's suffered. Now he's back to his frustrating self. He just need to simplify his game like Ronaldo did after that WC incident with Rooney. I won't lose faith in him yet though even if he doesn't turn it on consistently this season, although that would mean we would suffer a bit.Foster seems fine today. Wasn't tested much, but dealt with everything thrown at him, although he had one nervy kick.. but it got out of harms way. Showing his mental strength again bouncing from a bad game. He did fine after his shaky start against Chelsea until that City game, and seems to be fine against Stoke. Hope he can keep this up. Really looking the part IMO. |

And yet again, it is proven beyond doubt that NANI is not a good player for MU standard...!!
he doesn't pass the ball because he don't have the Football Sense and intelligence !! when he got the ball, all that he is thinking of " i want to be hero and dribble pass 10 players and score a spectacular goal !" And pls stop your bullsh1t about Nani not having enough game and stuff.... he has been given enough chances .... SAF should just sell off NANI, give others player a chance and move on...!!! |

And I have to say, if Scholes was shown a 2nd yellow there for his handball, it would have been harsh IMO. We can see lots of incidents where the ref didn't give anything other than a freekick/penalty unless it was an obvious one, or stopping a goal chance. What do you guys think about that? I was worried though, I thought he would have gone straight away seeing our luck over the years with referee regarding giving our players the 2nd yellow.
Ronaldo did it a few times if I'm not mistaken, and Rooney last season against Fulham.. the ref is quick to show them that.. He didn't have a good game admittedly, but not many did in that game. Valencia and Rooney were ineffective I thought. Berba wasn't doing much either. It was just that type of game where the opposition had men behind the ball most of the time.he doesn't pass the ball because he don't have the Football Sense and intelligence !! when he got the ball, all that he is thinking of " i want to be hero and dribble pass 10 players and score a spectacular goal !" Who's to say he won't have a good game next time he plays and keep that up? It's not like he didn't show any potential.. in his first season he was very good I thought. One of our highest assister.. since then things haven't quite work out, but we look at things 2-3 years ahead, not just on the now of things. Ronaldo took 4 seasons to become the player we know today. Nani is just starting his third season for us. Give it time eh? I'm sure you had doubts about Fletcher too back then. Good to see our fans don't learn a thing about being patient our players, young ones especially. Keep up the good work because I would love to see you guys being proven wrong, yet again. Added on September 27, 2009, 3:10 amHe's only 22.. players took different times to mature the player they suppose to be. Not everyone is special like a Rooney, Ronaldo or Messi who can make a consistent impact straight away only a few years after their break through. Most players take a while. And even Ronaldo took 4 seasons to become consistent in his game for us. It's when around 25 they get that consistency in their game that would stamp their mark on the team in almost every game. Fletcher showed just that. Shit initially.. for a few seasons in fact, and only showing up once in a while to show that he has something in him. That's what young players tend to do, until they mature and become more confident in their ability and game which would bring along consistency in their game. You can critise of course, that's what fans are supposed to do if they see a bad play/game, whatever it is. But look at the bigger picture, and not just what you see today. Be a bit patient, because if we look back, not everybody become a world beater at 22. This post has been edited by Wan: Sep 27 2009, 03:10 AM |

Nani can't even make a decent cross! and NO! Ronaldo doesn't took 4 season to shine... in fact from the very first game, we can c his potential......and he is bound to be a great player This post has been edited by w3er: Sep 27 2009, 03:12 AM |

Saying that, Nani should really do better. He was starting really good I thought this season. But the international break, and the rotation doesn't help his cause IMO. He need a run of games..

Not everyone is a Ronaldo who's special from day one. But still he wasn't that great initially. He was good, only in patches and there was a lot of games where he didn't contribute other than running down blind alleys all the time. Where did you think that one trick pony stuff about him came from? Besides if we judge every young winger to a Ronaldo, we won't find anyone able to become a regular for us there other than buying establish stars which we won't even get as good as Ronaldo. Added on September 27, 2009, 3:20 am QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Sep 27 2009, 03:15 AM) I would agree on Ronaldo's part It was only after that WC incident where he got consistent. Before that he was inconsistent as hell. One game he was great, the next he couldn't do anything other than going past one defender, and that's all he does all game long.Fergie did not expect to play him straight away when he came here.
