He's a kid, so these things happen. But still while the match is going on, he should know better.. what the hell was he thinking hitting that big red ball into the field while the game is going on.

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Oct 18 2009, 01:28 PM) I think he did well enough. The chances he had, the defenders did a good job to make it hard for him to have a clean shot and what not. Can't expect him to finish every chances he get. No striker does. He helped get one(deflected in off the defender, was it an OG?) and played a part in our 2nd goal. He's not as one dimensional as people think. He's pretty good actually at the build up stuff although of course he's no Rooney/Berba. |

No Rooney, Vidic, Fletcher(important player for us these days), Ronaldo(old news, but still..).. but we still able to put out a very strong team. We were without VDS as well since the start of the season till now.

QUOTE(avars @ Oct 18 2009, 09:37 PM) hi guys, is it true that rafa not given 'enuf' fund to strengthen his team? Constructive reply pls, i thought he spent quite some money compared to Arsenal n us in this past few years He has around 20m to spend each season. Same net spend as us really before we sold Ronaldo. They should not complain too much about that money stuff since they are one of the big spenders themselves.. |

Only 15mins was ugly. 75mins it was cruise control stuff.
We have another baby.. QUOTE COLEEN Rooney has gone to hospital - where she is said to have made husband Wayne a proud dad by giving birth, the News of the World can reveal. A heavily-pregnant Coleen was taken to Liverpool's Women's Hospital earlier today - and pals are claiming The Rooney's became proud parents soon after 1pm. There has been no official confirmation of the birth, but an annoucement his expected later today. Friends of the couple are already celebrating. Last week the News of the World told how Coleen had snubbed a £1 MILLION deal with a glossy mag for pictures of her and Wayne's baby. The WAG made the decision because she wants their child to be kept OUT of the spotlight completely. She was determined to have her first baby naturally and chose Liverpool Women's Hospital - an NHS Trust six miles from where they grew up in Croxteth - for the birth. The baby was due on October 24, Rooney's 24th birthday, the couple had revealed Coleen was expecting their first child in April. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/55411...ng-to-pals.html ![]() This post has been edited by Wan: Oct 19 2009, 01:10 AM |

QUOTE(caballero206 @ Oct 19 2009, 05:32 PM) Guys...at the moment i dont see pool as a title contender anymore. Look at their team and where they stand in the league now. They are just another football team with crappy and deluded fans around the world that will never ever admit their own mistakes. Everytime the result going the other direction they will come out with funny2 excuse which at the end become a written fact on why they are not winning the title. The pitch, the referee, Fergie's watch, how the league is bent, FA, UEFA, dive and not dive, the Yanks, everton, rooney, ferdinand, neville, owen.. They're on a bad run ATM. With the way things have gone so far this season, every team will drop points along the way, us included. We could have easily lost the game against Sunderland and drew last Saturday. We're only 7 points ahead. They could cut it down to 4 next weekend. It doesn't matter that much this early in the season, although it will be hard to catch up, but it's still possible. The list will go on and on...never ending.. But yeah, looking at things now, their chances aren't good. Already losing that many games, and it's not even half way yet. With Chelsea, Arsenal, City and us looking strong, they must have an almost perfect run from now till the end of the season. Losing Alonso is a blow although I'm sure they tried their hardest to cover that up. Add to that his replacement was injured when they sign him. But don't write them off yet. But form doesn't count next weekend. They even started the game at Anfield last season without Gerrard(came on on 68th min) and Torres, yet they still beat us. And at OT last season no need to mention. With them being on these bad run, it'll like a cup final for them.. Added on October 19, 2009, 7:07 pm"We were very close last season. Don't forget Liverpool has less money than Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and now Manchester City." Someone gone senile? If it's Chelsea, City and maybe us at a stretch, he's right, but Arsenal? Someone need to show that list to him.. This post has been edited by Wan: Oct 19 2009, 07:07 PM |

Bloody hell. Didn't realise we only have a few options in midfield(not that I'm complaining, we still can start a great midfield combo). We could start 4/5 of those we bring there.. Where's Gibson? Added on October 20, 2009, 1:48 amWelbeck and O'Shea could cover for midfield of course.. This post has been edited by Wan: Oct 20 2009, 01:48 AM |
