QUOTE(phrozenheart @ Apr 1 2021, 10:15 AM) Just came across this and would like to clarify - oils used in shoe care products are refined differently to be absorbed into the leather. Hence, it wouldn't feel like the normal cooking oil or motor oil that feels greasy and can't penetrate the leather. Saphir sole guard is made 100% vegetable oil, if it is like the cooking vegetable oil we know many would have slipped, fell down and sued Saphir. The shoe cream works very well on my Chromexcelwill definitely visit again |

QUOTE(BacktoBasics @ Sep 1 2021, 10:53 AM) So sad. I checked with shoemo over on social media. patch rubber outsole on it if no one can doThey claimed they understand and able to help me but from my conversation with them, I don't think they know even what is Goodyear welted shoes or boots I think some handbags repairs shop do it.. some people send Chanel handbags or shoes to repair.. can try ask most cobbler or factory here don't bother to do.. because they say GYW cost is too high as need to invest GYW machines probably higher chance if to find those GYW by hand cobblers.. but that's not going to be cheap This post has been edited by yehlai: Sep 5 2021, 01:17 AM |

QUOTE(lvoonjian8888 @ Apr 15 2022, 10:17 PM) Just bought a pair of Barker Leybourne Semi Brogue in conker brown colour. Tested about 7-8 pairs of GYW shoes ranging from Loake, Cheaney & Barker. Finally settled down with this Barker due to it cost RM1.2k and come with Daniete sole which is suitable for my working environment (cold & wet). The staff & boss is very helpful and patient. from P. lal? |
