Both look like oxfords to me. Design wise canfield is definitely more conservative (which is usually good). But it looks wider and chunkier than whitworth. I'd go with canfield between the two.

I remember seeing a higher line bata in singapore. I think it was called Ambassador. The shoes are not bad for it's price range. Many times more value than Aldo, Pedro and etc. But I've never seen them in Malaysia. Even went to the shop in singapore last week but they're no longer there. =/

dvlsplayground, if the shoes are not so urgent, then I suggest you wait till you can afford better shoes. I have been wanting brown leather shoes for 3 years now. Still counting. I have only just started my first job, so I figure my shoes will still be some years ahead. For now, my black KK wingtips (with a shitload of starwax) will have to do.

Can be done lah but you have to be willing to go sockless in those expensive shoes.

I think HPs are overpriced. Their designs are always 'not quite there' for me.

QUOTE(jeremy_yee @ Feb 21 2012, 11:02 PM) Anyone here experiencing small bumps on their calf leather shoes? My Cheaney seconds got these after it's second wear. It seems to be smaller and less visible after a few day. But why oh why? Now I have less desire to wear them with this imperfectness. Do you have a photo of it? |

You can't expect much from a RM120 shoe. But I can tell you they look much better than anything I can buy here for less than RM400 (i'm serious). Even better with a good layer of starwax.
