M&S = Marks & Spencer? Nah these are Indonesian made shoes - "Mario Minardi". RM320 after discount at Isetan. Actual price RM450+ I think.
*
got a look at them in isetan. not too bad for the price if after discount.

yeah too bad C&J have stopped supplying Plal
am planning to get the lowndes in dark brown but Plal have run out of stock for my size and so i'm thinking of ordering either from pediwear or bodileys

i know u've got a pair of lowndes. if i wear size 9E on the 341 last, do i stick to that size on the 348 for the lowndes??
*
not sure abt the 341. better u ask Syam himself. as for supply of C&J, if i am not mistaken, they still have stock but they just can't sell it online? i havent been there in a while to ask them abt it.

most shoe departments in departmental stores, cobblers etc. plastic ones are cheaper. wood ones go for ard RM30-100+

hmmm, i'll listen to your advice and not go for the plastic
did get one with spring, it kinda flimsy, and the spring seems does not hold tight enough...
so far all i can ask for cheapest is running at RM75 (wood)
the cash converter has 2nd hand which selling at RM12 only for wood!? but sold off...
since its a shoe tree, i don expect to spend much on it...
lanatir did mentioned the range is from 30-100, may i know where to get the 30bucks instead?
*
u can try the cobbler at KLCC or go look in isetan.

either way, why would i spend expensive shoes tree for a shoes that cost not even over 800? yes i'm cheap...thx for reminding...

thx for those who being informative...and.....for those who can't accept cheap.....er hmm er hmm.....
remember the thread title is shoes thread, it doesn't stated as "expensive shoes" only...
and i'm happy with what i have...  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
not sure how much ur shoes cost but RM800 is more than what most of the population would spend on a pair of shoes.

I'm in the process of negotiating to buy this pair of Church's. About RM700 for this moderately used pair.

I think that's the problem, they usually only carry boots or atleast ankle high stuff... and I only really wear boots when riding. Kinda looking for day to day office wear.

Looks immaculate, too much shoes that don't get lots of rotation?  tongue.gif

Actually i wear them at least 3-4 times a month. I always make sure my shoes are properly maintained. That and don't play football with them on haha

wow, any topy on it?
*
Yep they've been topyed a few years back. This is my oldest pair of English shoes and I am always impressed with their quality. This and my Lowndes double monks are the ones that I use the most often and travel with the most.

These Mantellasis are around 6 years old...

A ghillie brogue? I'm curious on how you plan to wear this? With a kilt?

f
Nah this isn't a real ghillie. It has a tongue. Quite fun to mix and match with and it also has some sort of dainite like sole.
