QUOTE(niakulah @ Jul 2 2022, 05:52 PM) Better than metal taps? No idea, I never managed to find anyone who had them. But the rubber is still in place after 4 years. I've changed the rubber heel 1 time since then and if it weren't for MCO, it would probably already be due for another. Thanks. I guess I will abandon the idea since I also don’t know any reliable cobbler, let alone doing something like this. Just a guide for you to show to any competent cobbler you trust in your area. It's a relatively simple operation using readily available materials. QUOTE(phrozenheart @ Jul 3 2022, 06:45 PM) Depends on the type of toe plates you are looking for? Normal ones are just screwed onto the soles. These can be done a Cobblerman, can't remember if he uses plastic or metal ones. Yup I am looking for the latter. Looks like more common abroad, at least as shown in YouTube 😄Then there are lulu or triumph toe plates that are installed by skiving the sole, then screwed on to make it flush with the whole sole to avoid snagging on carpets, scratching floors, etc. You will have to buy the lulu or triumph toe plates yourself, afaik nobody sells them here. |

QUOTE(lvoonjian8888 @ Oct 11 2022, 12:20 PM) Maybe you can look for libran.kl at Shopee. Recently I just bought a pair of waxed flat shoe lace from him, is 3mm. Slim and sleek profile. Below is the picture of the shoe lace with my Barker dress shoes. How recent did you purchase? I have actually found librankl before, but he has been on vacation for some time edy, so unable to buy. But if i am not mistaken the available sizes are a bit limited now too.![]() |

Hey guys like to ask whether my Saphir cream is normal. I have this cognac color cream and the consistency is super watery like a jar of melted ice cream. In comparison to the neutral cream I have and those video I saw on YouTube the consistency should be more solid and like a hair cream?

QUOTE(niakulah @ Jun 14 2023, 03:51 PM) In your first pic, looks like separation has occurred? Might need to give it a good mix. That will likely make it even more watery though... Yes there’s separation. I have tried to mix it before but it separate still after some time I don't think that is normal though. Not for any of mine anyway. |
