the type we use for doll face up is Mr.Super Clear FLAT. that is a 1st coating before using pastels or acrylics to do the rest off the 'make-up'. Blushing is using pastels brushed onto the joints.

MSC FLAT is just to cover and seal the makeup.

well hard to get interest when there's close to no suppliers here in malaysia. hope someone could be a retailer for doll parts especially volks dolfie series

I don't see why its 'volks' only though. Then again its very much QC bjd company to begin with.. hence only why there is one branc outside off Japan and that is in US.
The nearest way of getting things for your kid you can get are either from Taobao,Korean companies or Den of Angels ( a forum dedicated to BJD owners alike)

Also i would like to point out also that as long its jointed articulations and is a 'doll' in many aspects it is still considered a BJD. If this topic is going more towards the Resin counterparts then its Resin Ball Jointed Dolls tongue.gif

i dont really like volks =.="
they're so so expensive.. i prefer those korean companies..
*
Volks is well known for their QC for resin quality. I doubt you've come across one in real life now do you? Once you get to interact with one you'll understand the difference with the korean companies to begin with. tongue.gif Heck I would still want a Suigintou mold because her type just got re-released not long ago in limited batches or a School head B . Only bummer part is that due to their resin quality they tend to be heavier than our usual korean/china doll companies .

Yellowing off resin can't be helped really. The best way to get is the MSC Uv Cut ~_~; don;t know about baking soda as off yet. you heard about it from DoA?
