Now Airsharing is retailing at $4.99 and Pro edition is at $9.99..
It's good that you got the FOC edition earlier...

If animation cannot be shown.. I think if just convert the ppt (or pptx/pps) to pdf will still give the same UI experiences... and maybe get a pdf reader.. but yikes.. that's another paid app..

maybe i'll also try fileaid..

@gunnerstkd @tinkerbel

i've actually just downloaded this app called FileAid. it's free, and me thinks it's similar to Air Sharing (i haven't tried Air Sharing yet). but it's not working for me though. can't start a connection to the iphone from my comp, something to do about not having permission to access folder. haih.

I read in their website.. you can only transfer file to yr iphone to fileaid via the below 2 methods:
1. FTP.. setup a FTP server on yr PC
2. DiskAid.. paid app..

I guess your FTP credentials are not correct?

i installed Fileaid and trying it now.. I copied a 15MB ppt into my iphone fileaid folder and until now also it is still loading "loading please wait"

Not sure whether this is the app's limitation or the phone capabilities in terms of memory to open big files...

Finally I got an error message,

File Viewing
FileAid cannot display this file, it may be too large or incompatible.
You may try to view this file by disabling memor management in FileAid..

Heyguys any of you get the TomTom application yet?? How much it cost for the Iphone version?
*
there's no Asia map yet for tomtom as far as i know.. the average costs is around $100++ .. check itunes..
it's better to get a gps device rather than the software.. if any of your frens/relative in US..u can easily get a cheap one in fry's electronics..

Am still using google maps only.. found it enough to locate unknown destinations.. but have to stop at the road side to check the map everytime.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Installed and experienced lots of problems.. sometimes it crashes after loading... sometimes chat crashes..
uninstall.. reinstall..still the same..apparently there are some discussion in other forums on this stability issue of the ver3.0..

aiya.. should have stayed with ver2.5 and check whether there is problem with the new version before upgrading.. cry.gif
