however, it would be in even more perfect, if we would be able to rate the movie by no. of stars and probably post our reviews
Hi,
Initially we planned to release CineApps with the "Star Rating" and "User Review" systems but there are still some coding problems which we are still working on it. Since it is going to take a while to solve it, we had decided to release the first version with the very basic features such as movie showtimes and movie trailers. I will post the update as soon as the review system is ready.

Hi CineApps,
Thanks for the great apps, at last we have a proper cinema showtime for the Malaysians.
Btw i would prefer if you were to list down all the cinema available in malaysia by state instead of the city. the reason is simple... go to the tgv n gsc website... they are use to list it that way.... n for me i was quite use to it... n i was quite surprise when my 1st login that i did not see klang cinema until i realise that i need to click on the kuala lumpur name for me to switch to klang city.... for us ppl in klang valley i guess to travel from petaling jaya to subang or to shah alam is just a short distance, hence i believe the categorizing should work in state instead of city.....
that is just my opinion.... overall the whole concept were ok.... but lacking in speed....it tooks sometimes too load.... n i do understand that you all were not invest on the hosting server heavily for the current progress...
and the main page should not be favourite... i found it weird when i login for the 1st time....as i do not see anything and were thinking issit hang... probably your main page can autoload to the current blockbuster movie... n from there i believe you can find another piece of biz....

just my 2cents.
Thanks again.
We will look into the listing system and try to work something on it. Are you suggesting that we should group all the cinemas in Kuala Lumpur, Puchong, Klang, Putrajaya, Petaling Jaya and Kajang under the same category as Kuala Lumpur? If all the cinemas were to group under 1 same category, the list of cinemas will be very long.
Actually we had invested on the hosting server but we did not expect our application to be so popular. The sudden increase of the users are unexpected. We will definitely invest more on the hosting server so that you guys will have a more pleasant user experience while using our app. You can support us by viewing the ads displayed and give reviews in iTune.
Regarding the "Favorite" section, we still feel that putting it as home page is appropriate as the users will be able to view their favorite cinemas immediately after logging in to our application. I believe most of us have our own favorite cinemas.

i would love to see cineapps can support online booking etc....cuz gsc i mostly go in penang they can do booking at their web but they are using flash to show the number of seats and also booking as well...safari dint have flash support so i cant really book through my phone...
We are dealing with the cinemas now to have the ticket booking system integrated in our application. Cathay Cineplexes had approved us.
