I have a four year old Yamaha RX-V457. Yamaha RX-V457
No HDMI (for audio - there is digital optical&coaxial input only)
I am pretty happy with it but I am planning to get a FullHD TV and a BD player as well. Will I be shortchanged on sound without upgrading this avr?

Any advice for me?

What I mean to ask is, is there anything from the AQ perspective that I would be missing out on? Digital gives me PCM which is already good enough?
