Hi sifu2, i am just starting in avr and plan to recycle what i have ie. 5 units of my old speakers (2 ctr, 2 satellite, 1 sub) from a sony hifi.
Can i use these speakers for the RX-V373 ? Will there be something missing from the sound as usually there are 6 speakers rite ?
Thx ..

QUOTE(shadowblack @ Jan 10 2013, 08:51 PM) Usually people use 5/7/9 speaker only Eh, not 6 speakers min for 5.1 ? 1 ctr speaker 2 front speakers 2 back speakers 1 subwoofer

QUOTE(plasma @ Jan 16 2013, 11:43 PM) You can always reuse speakers but you'll need 5 speakers + 1 subwoofer to get 5.1 Thank you plasma ! I'll go buy a centre speaker and reuse my surrounds then.
