Hi...bro i'm sure that your RX-V3900 are THX certified right...
have you try to calibrate your set up using "THX speaker setting"
(even though u r using normal speakers)
coz i want to know how good it will work at yamaha coz my lx-82(ultra 2) worked impressive
same like my vsx-ax2as (select 2) before.... nod.gif

RX-V2400 got THX, RX-V3900 no THX..how come arrr... hmm.gif

bro...first time i know about THX from yamaha Z9 sound very powerful but that time
price RM18k and then Rx-v2400 only RM2k+++ maaa... cheap lo... biggrin.gif
