In my Onkyo, Pure Audio mode can utilise the other channels if your source material is multi channel. So if I enable 5.1 audio I will get some LFE and even surround sounds in Pure Audio mode.So what's the benefit of Pure Audio mode then? I believe all the EQ, bass management and other audio processing is turned off.
