I bought from Desa Kepong, RM1,400/-

If you don't need the extra network features and willing to accept a slightly lower power, then get the 375. I saw it advertised at RM999/- last month at Desa, but not sure still got stock.
*
but 475 also got others features, based on purity concept of yamaha, i think i will prefer 475 so no need upgrade later on. any email/phone contact of desa kepong? or all desa will price the same?

1913 is 7 channels right? how do you find Denon's performance? aesthetically it looks better than Yamaha but like you said some reviews said that Yamaha v475 has got the best sounding quality in that range albeit other features might be lacking. decision decision decision...
*
yeah 1912 7.1 channel. looks is subjective but yamaha might have too many buttons at the front plate, somebody like it, somebody hate it. so far so good la.. first time buying, i dont know how to gauge, sometimes i dont trust my ears, so i prefer to see overall review biggrin.gif my speaker is infinity primus set, i can say is, i felt better watching movie at home nowadays then go cinema, unless is dolby atmos. Even i found 3d effect at cinema is subpar compared to TV/projector. maybe my hometown so called GSC Lite is really Lite, but even my home theater sounds better, becos in cinema, they just full blast everything, that makes no sense. at home, u can tune the sound to ur liking, the volume that is pleasant to your ears, and the positioning is much better than cinema.

Apart from their own distintive sound of Yamaha and Denon, one should also consider the speaker calibration program included, i.e. YPAO vs Audyssey. Especially if your setup is not ideal such as speaker positioining due to room limitation and speaker types. I have a Denon 1912 and use a mixture of rojak speakers and I found using the Audyssey (MultEQ XT) programme did improve the sound balance. Perhaps bro Ben3003 can commend on using both the programmes since he owns a Yamaha and a Denon.
*
denon audyssey calibration is good, at least it makes my setup sounds better. but YPAO i cant really test as i only have 2.0 to pair with it first, i dont have the luxury to buy full set in 1 go. i do hope the virtual surround thingy by yamaha is better, becos yamaha is well known for their DSP and surround processing on their soundbar.

i dont know YPAO can be used for 2 speaker??
because manual setting is faster
