I'm using it, sometimes it is better than remote control. I can use it to quickly change the DSP mode, and also when play music from the PC uPnP server, you can see a list of song, just like using ipod to play music, my Yamaha V2067 becomes network music player  cool.gif

V2067 is good AVR. Nice design. Normally I like AVR which you can't see so much button.... How much you bought?????

mine is titanium/silver.....black was out of stock

Desa HT Lowyat has black but display unit... price is the same but i think you can nego

why don't u get RX-V1065 which was on sale for RM1900 (if still available); or even RX-V2065 for RM2300

1065 has all the specs of 667 (except 3D ) plus USB, networking, better upscaling, higher power rating despite being an older model (year 2009) but I only realised this after bought 667  vmad.gif

nevertheless I'm extremely happy with the RX-V667 hooked up to my Energy Take Classic 5.1 speakers rclxm9.gif

now have to re-watch all my dvd collection then buy blu rays
*
RX-V667 weight is very light, only 8.5kg.
RX-V1065 RM1900.. good deal..... V1067 new model
RX-V2065 RM2300... wow,, good deal....

These day AVR price consider reasonable.......
Yamaha have too many many model, unlike Marantz..............

RX-V673 - RM1900 wow, very cheap, I really can't believe the price.
You get all the latest spec. very good deal..
And this machine is Made In Malaysia...

But Yamaha receiver weight is consider light unlike Marantz, Marantz machine is heavy..

Did search last week at amcorp mall. Not sure what is that shop name, did ask about v series. They have only A series.
*
RXV673, very good buy.. I like this amp, but Yamaha V series receiver, power cord connected with the receiver.
Unlike A series the power cord is separated...(LIKE)

I think most of the Yamaha receiver user here are using V series, I not sure about that... biggrin.gif
But V series price is very very attractive... biggrin.gif

Small matter lah. If want extend the cord, put connector lor. smile.gif

The A series price is different alot. A bit high side. That is why V series is more attractive.
*
Bro I'm not talking about extend the cord, I am talking about changing the power cord.....
A series most cheaper one how much it cost??????

Enjoy your new receiver... thumbup.gif

Eh... why you want to change the powercord?

Entry level A series already cost more than 3k. sweat.gif

Headache lah setting the AVR. Till AVR cannot ON anymore. ROM error.  sweat.gif
*
RXA 810 cost from RM3K????

changing good power cord can bring consistent improvements from system to system..
Most of the 搞机友, they all change their power cord. But your V series can't change, so better don't modify anything..
