Just bought a 765 and set it up but noticed that the surround back speakers are not playing at all. The receiver detects the speakers but doesn't play at all even when a test tone is played. I've checked the setup and it's configured at 7.1. I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. I am really counting on you guys for some help.

how do i get my 465 to display dts-tru hd/dolby hd whenever it decodes? every time i play blu-ray with dolby/dts hd it only shows pro-logic2. any sifu here can help?

I want to know where i can send my old Yamaha AVR RXV-520 for repair? It's not totally broke, but some of the function cannot be activate any more. Need to send back to factory? Or is there some good trustworthy shop for repairs?

Just purchased a cable which the shop claimed to be a coaxial cable (they were doing a stock clearance). However when I reached home and read the manual, it seems that there is a cable to only carries only video signals and also another that carries only audio signals.

So I checked the box and it says Video, doesn't mention Audio anywhere. Thing is I have not bought a new amp or receiver so I can't test this cable out yet.

But is it true that some cables only carries video signals? I'm looking forward to sending audio signals from my Astro decoder to the home theater so what I need is an audio one right? Sorry for my newbie question.

So it means that the one I purchased most likely only sends video signals right?

Just bought the 467.
1st simple task encountered problem.
Connect the bd player to 467 via hdmi.
Then 467 to ledtv via hdmi.
Howver, no signal detected at tv. Whats wrong?

Few days back my amp keep auto power off when i blast the volume til very high. You guys know what is that problem? Especially when i switch to 7.1 mode.

Darn worry will it dmg my amp for keep restarting ?
