wow HOT ROD car ar? front small back big?  rclxms.gif  so what kind of fuel mileage you getting la?

Added on October 5, 2009, 10:51 pm

whoa this one i cannot forgive. that's why everytime i park my car, i will try to remember what are the cars with the number plate on my left and right.

so if i kena such nonsense, and i still can remember, so if future i see the fcuker's car again, HALLELUJAH la  flex.gif

where is your location btw? in Petaling jaya, got one panel beater i know him, his skills ok la, boleh pakai. he will match the current tone of the car, and repaint your door la. if can touch up only, i think should be ok la

brother, 50 liter or RM 50? BIG DIFFERENCE YOU KNOW?  tongue.gif

that's like 26 sen/km; similar to my sister's 05' auto Gen.2, tak boleh pakai wei...

what is your tire pressure? don't settle for anything below 30psi. i remember when i collected my new waja CPS and finished the first full tank (i assume the salesman gave me RM 90 fuel), it was at 380km. i got shocked. then i measured the tire pressure, guess what? IT WAS AT A BLOODY 23 PSI!!!!!!  mad.gif

then i pumped to 34psi, RM 90 fuel, and it finished at 520km  icon_idea.gif

nowadays, i make sure my all four tires are at 35psi. sure it feels a bit bumpy, but my car feels light  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
I pump my car tyre pressure as recommended, 32psi front, 29psi back. But I did add another 0.5psi. Using 215/55/17 tyre. Should I pump more air? The current ride is ok, a bit bump cause of thinner tyre.

Btw, not sure if it's personal psycho or what, I just pump BHP ron95 (before this using petronas ron95), there is a noticable surge in power. Anyone try it yet? Haven't finish my first tank, so not sure if it improve FC or not.

i think i have that problem also....but i go tyre shop and change a new tyre then do alignment then everything goes well...i heard that it's the tyre already expired....u may try that out...like my car both 4 tyres all expired and i change only 1 the vibration very huge then change both front tyre d....better but the steering still a bit slanting to the left...so wait wheni change the 2 more at the back hopefully it will be fine...hehe

Insurance should be less than 1k. So your processing fee (roadtax, name transfer, loan arrangement) cost around 2k?! That is expensive! What else did you pay?

Obviously, vibration is cause by moving part, any part that move can be the cause of vibration. Leave your car in free/neutral gear, then start revving from idling to, say 5-6k rpm, very slowly. Then note the vibration on your steering. Some slight vibration is normal for >4 years waja, usually more noticable around 2.5-3k, a sign of wear and tear. Something I notice when I was scouting for 2nd Waja some time ago. smile.gif
However, if your steering vibrates terribly at all rpm, (worst case, vibrate at idling), confirm engine mounting already.

But, if the vibration is acceptable/normal in neutral gear, and only vibrate when driving, then it can be due to tyre balancing, and etc... Try post your observation here, some sifu may able to help. smile.gif

typo error guys ....    tongue.gif  was 115km/h at slightly under 3k rpm(29xxrpm)  icon_rolleyes.gif

@nayte@
tested. the performance you gain in using the iridium spark plug is very minimal compare to the price you have to pay.
am using the standard bosch spark plug with bosch cable. so far so good.
properly tuned 4-2-1 extractor and k&n drop-in air filter gives better result.
perhaps, pulleys thingy is another alternative.

btw, any news on yokohama ad08 in malaysia yet?
*
rpm 3.5k already 130km/h sweat.gif 115km/h rpm should be 3k already le.. Or you using auto?
Anyone know where to tune engine with modified extractor?

y not? could u elaborate more on this yngwie?  unsure.gif

My parent old car, had this harsh "crock" sound when the steering is turned until the end. Don't know if it would happen to waja or not, but because of that, I don't turned my steering to the end also. tongue.gif And because of that, waja turning radius is ridiculously large, need to stop 2x to park my car. doh.gif

squareball: your aunt car look nice and stock. smile.gif
swk_sam: The bank don't approve 29k because the market value is lower than that.

If dono where to service, better send to proton service center for first service. I sent mine to the proton service, expensive a bit, but worth it lor. Anyway, glad that I found a good first owner, till now satisfy with the car, no major problem so far. Touch root. blush.gif laugh.gif
